New sponsors, new life for Glenburn Pond
#1 Oct 3, 2007
Finally, when people stand up for the right and that was to save this pond (25 acre lake) that held treasured memories for the people of Clarks Summit - common sense prevailed. To drain this pond down twice despite 1000's of signatures from locals, demonstrations, law suits, was a disgrace. The saddest thing was that this land was donated to a conservation group who had posted signs all around it saying - wildlife no hunting fishing etc and yet thousands of fish have died as a result.
