I do not understand how Natural Lands Trust was donated this land by a family on the understanding that it would remain the same, a beautiful 25 acre pond, and then put up signs all around it, declaring it a "Wildlife Zone", with no fishing, hunting etc. allowed and then drain it till it is just about empty and leave all the fish to die. I thought this group was involved in conservation. How do you know now when you dontate something to a non profit that it will be used as you inteneded. SO they needed to fix the dam, fix it. They had the money according to public records. Had they no respect for all the people who lived there that they could not work out an agreement. No they did not, they emptied it during the night.
