Also avoid the dentist other than a cleaning or a filling if you absolutely know you need one. Most if not all dentists are SCAM ARTISTS. That's why mot insurances no longer cover this biggest scam in the world. Just brush your teeth, use a anti-plaque rinse, floss, and most of all gargle with a good strong mouth was to kill the bacteria that causes tooth decay in the first place. It's sad but you don't need to go for a yearly cleaning which is something you can do yourself at home with a kit from Walmart, Walgreens, or RiteAid. Also this so called "Flouride Treatment" is nothing more than a regular flouride rinse - just because they call it a "treatment" doesn't mean anything. For example each time you brush your teeth your technically giving your teeth a treatment. ha ha ha Anyway, most dentists will priscribe filings that you don't need, caps, root canals. the works just so they can take money from you but performing unnecessary things to your teeth. Heck I met one dentist while I was up in Maine 10 years ago that wanted to give me 5 fillings, remove my wisdom teeth, replace sealants that she said fell out, and do other stuff that would cost me THOUSANDS of dollars. Well I went back to my state and saw my old dentist (he happened to be one of the few I've ever met that isn't a scam artists). After he looked at Xrays and looked teeth over he said she had LIED. I had no cavities but only a chipped tooth that could be filled plus a cleaning. For little over $100.00 it was taken care of. Now 10 years later I show NO SIGNS of these so called cavities that she lied about. By the way her name was Michelle Spekhardt and last I knew she still works up in Maine. Anyway this problem isn't just in New England but even way out in the Mid West were I come from and just recently a news crew from Canada even said that issue of Dentistry being a Scam is huge in Canada. Sorry to rant but Dentists are evil evil evil people and are not to be trusted. I know some day I may actually have a cavity or something that needs to be fixed and I cringe to my very soul that I will need to walk into another Scam Artist dentist. Sadly the 1 dentist I remotely trusted is now retired.

PS I have a friend that I'm visiting in Maine during New Years and she has to go see a dentist. I feel so sorry for her. I'm 100% sure she's gonna be taken for a ride big time.
