Student's murder case goes to jury
“When you consider everything, this is first-degree murder.”
One of the men charged with the murder of a University of Illinois-Chicago student should be convicted whether or not he dealt the deadly blow to the victim, prosecutors said Monday.
Mantas Matulis, 22, and Muaz Haffar, 23, are charged with first-degree murder in the fatal beating of a political science student on July 9, 2005. Authorities believe Haffar of Burr Ridge fled to Syria shortly after being charged.
In closing arguments Monday, prosecutors said that after witnessing Haffar severely beat Tombol Malik, 23, with a bike lock, Matulis delivered at least one heavy kick to the head of Malik that may have led to his death. Read more

It appears there needs to be TOPIX page titled Kristine Scott....
This would help a lot of people find out important information and maybe save people from being robbed, lied to and being harmed.
