Americans Are Starting to Miss President Bush
Sunday, November 08, 2009 1:39:08 PM · by TaxPayer2000 · 19+ views

Obama 'Cold' and 'Bloodless' The UK Telegraph has a remarkable story from America about a new trend that, so far, seems to be going unreported in the American media. Americans, turned off by President Obama's cold demeanor, are missing George W. Bush. "In a sign that the Obama honeymoon truly is over, I began to hear this week the first stirrings of a wistfulness about Mr Bush.'I never thought I'd hear myself say it,' one Democrat told me.'But Obama makes you feel that at least with Bush you knew where he was on Americans Are Starting to Miss...

Agreed. It's virtually impossible to put a label on a man who has done so much for, not only this country, but for the entire WORLD! He brings HOPE and CHANGE to BILLIONS, and least I remind you he's a NOBEL PEACE PRIZE WINNER!

the other night my daughter and I were having a conversation when she was just about half asleep...I can't remember how we got on the subject...but I asked her if she knew that Obama had gotten Nobel prize...she was surprised and responded, "What did he do? Fry some chicken?" Well to one that can't fry chicken, that is a major accomplishment, but even a kid realizes that he has done nothing so far for this country, but hey, there's always tomorrow!

I can put plenty of labels on him. He does not deserve the kudos he is getting any more than he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize. The hope is disappearing when we see the type of change he is bringing. You must listen to what he is saying and not focus only on the "Style" he is presenting it with. You only have to look at what he is doing to know where he is trying to take us. It does not matter if you are riding in a Cadillac or a trash can if you are heading to imprisonment. He is trying to assume powers for the government that they have never had before. The Bill of Rights means nothing to this man. You will soon see the effects of raw naked power. You see looming before you the cult of the leader, not unlike Hitler and Stalin. This American president is more hostile to the U.S. than the Communist leaders of China. Whatever happened to "America First"?

is this some kind of racist remark i mean do you always associate blacks with fried chicken because i know whites eat chicken too also just because he's black does not mean he can't be a good president that's what's wrong with this country now we so stuck on the negative and don't look at the positive i say no matter who is the president we need to come together as one and forget about color we need to focus on the positive and make the negative better because no matter what you or i say OBAMA is the president and it is not nothing you or i can do about it but wait until his term is up so get over yourself oh and you need to educate your daughter and let her know that her president won a Nobel peace prize for promoting global peace including against nuclear weapons but no you rather her know the negative i just wish everyone would realize no ones perfect but i would say one thing.... for every negative thing you have to say about obama there's twice as positive things others can say about him

And here we go....no I have not raised my daughter to be a racist...she just realizes that he has done nothing for our country OR world peace...I don't have a problem with him being black...I have a problem with his qualifications to be the leader of our country...he HAS none! Also his big ears are quite scary!

OMG.......let's take the racist route. I am white and I LOVE fried chicken. And I'm sure Shasta and her family do as well. You people always look for the negative rather than the positive.

But I would like for you to tell me exactly what Obama has done for this country. And what positive things can others say about him.

Oh but those big ears work good on Halloween trick or treating.

Besides he is half black. Why does everyone keep forgetting that?

Oh, I'll answer my own question. It's because he says he is black. He has abandoned his white side. obama must be the racist. During the campaign didn't he and the press say that if he was elected that would put an end to racism in America? Seems to me he has done more to divide Americans that unite us.

Well this is just too heavy for the Ancient One. gone to more civilized threads. Shasta, where for art thou?

The Nobel Peace Prize was already flirting with irrelevance after recent selections like Al Gore, Yasser Arafat, and Jimmy Carter, but after Obama was chosen and he was only in office for nine months and for only 12 days when the nomination period expired, the award can officially be said to mean pretty much nothing these days. It’s a shame since so many in the past have legitimately deserved recognition for their efforts ......namely Mother Theresa. Can anyone legitimately argue that Obama has accomplished anything of major substance period, let alone anything that puts him in the league of the likes of her?

You mean like a 787 billion dollar stimulus plan that had already FAILED a few years earlier under the Bush Administration?

Get together with someone you respect and admire because you'll really enjoy their company. The conversation could soon turn to highly personal areas, yet there won't be any hesitation in talking straight from the heart.
