This doesn't surprise me. That place was famous for ripping off customers. One time I put the bill on my credit card but gave a cash tip. The server took it upon himself to add another $10 tip to my credit card. Supposedly they did this all the time.

Don't worry fellow employees--there are plenty of other crappy chain restaurants to work at! Has anyone seen the movie "Waiting?" To the owners of Roadhouse--I give you "The Goat!"

Honestly I HATE Roadhouse glad its gone.....Worst service hands down on Transit. Ive never been anywhere else that the employees sit at a table eat and ignore their tables while on break. And yes ive seen it and yes know two who worked there and agree not enough workers gave a @#$% about their job. Cant tell you how much this was discussed today. Other then yes the questionable steak!! Yup!! go to Red Osier then nod and say OHHH thats what its supposed to taste like and hey my server came back at least once since Ive been here!!

Their food sucked!! Anyone saying that they had good steaks from there must have never had an opportunity to actually taste what a good cut of meat should taste like. I feel sorry for you and your sheltered life. They buried their cuts in tons of marinade and tenderizer to disguise their shitty meat. If you liked them THAT much, go to Tops and buy their cheapest steak and some "Grill mates" montreal steak seasoning. Dump half the jar on your steak and cook it on a charcoal grill. I guarentee your meal will taste just like the piece of crap you actually payed money for at the Roadhouse.

I can't believe this restaurant, out of all the steakhouses in WNY, closed! This is BY FAR my favorite restaurant, for both the food and the friendly atmosphere. I wish there were some way to get them to re-open!

Who really cares about what you thought of the restaurant and it's food? What about all of the ex-employees who woke up wednesday morning to their co-workers telling them not to bother showing up to work anymore? No warning we would lose our jobs or anything. I never even heard from a manager or anything. And now there are 300 of us without a job and with no way of paying for school, our bills, our families, the list goes on and on. And don't forget we probably won't be getting our last paychecks (they owe me and many others 3). So who really cares about your opinions of the restaurant? It doesn't matter now. Why don't you people show some consideration towards us and our situations?
PS: Not all employees were perfect and considerate, but that's how it is at ANY place of employment.

Excuse me? I'm trying to get another job. It's kind of hard when there are 300 people trying to get jobs right now, not to mention all of the people coming home from college now looking for jobs, and all of the other people losing their jobs in this crappy area. You don't even live anywhere near Buffalo so what do you know?!

Michael is right--there are TONS of other restaurants looking for workers--people lose their jobs every day in America but people are also hired every day in America. Give The Roadhouse "The Goat!" and get a better job.
