We know that the employees did not know they were closing. Most of the managers probably did not know either.

My step dad worked at Tony Romas in Florida, and they DID NOT tell their employees they were closing either. They went to work, started waiting on their customers, and then corporate came in and said finish your customers, and then you can stay and help clean up. And then they chained the doors.

if they told me i had to stay and clean the place i would have laughed in their face!! it just sucks it puts a bad taste in my mouth about even working for a corporate place again.

That is the unfortunate state that they are in. People cannot afford $20+ tip per head anymore. You also cannot offer real "value meals" in this style/concept of restaurant it simply doesn't work. Once you start offering substandard prefab meals, people leave in droves. Mark my words, Damon's, Fuddruckers, Smokey Bones are all likely to be next within a year or so.

Ha there is noone left for you to sue the wednesday after it happened the corporate office closed as well they were just waiting for the bankruptcy court to come and seize their documents. im not going to get the 3 paychecks im owed so i highly doubt anyone with a gift card is going to get anything either

/Reminds me of a multimillion dollar class action lawsuit I was part against VISA credit card for some bad deed. After the lawyers, judges and government fees got their grubby hands on it, I received a check for $1.62. Same will happen at Road House. Don't bother.

The good news is that when you see the locked doors at Roadhouse, you can head over to a good restaurant like Ruby Tuesday.

My husband and I are SOOO sad to see this close! Every single time we went out, we ONLY ate at Roadhouse in amherst and then went to the Regal to see a movie! It was our all time favorite restaurant and we are just sooo upset that we dont get to eat there anymore! We LOVED thier steaks and I absolutely loved their sauteed mushrooms! I hope and pray they re open soon!! I hate change! haha..and have tried other restaurants and ALWAYS came back to Roadhouse! Very sad, PLEASE PLEASE RE OPEN!!!! We had alot of great family times there!!!! And always had like an hour wait so why the bankruptsy? Somethings up with that?! Just come back!!

If you research the company you'll see that they opened at least 30 locations in the span of 2 years. Most of them were in horrible back woods locations. The ones that were profitable could not sustain the debt load of the awful ones. By the time this was realized, it was too late. I wouldn't hold my breath for them reopening. If anything the minute amount of franschises may do well now that they are free of the failing end.
