I agree 110%. Outback is wayyy overpriced for mainly bland, tasteless non-seasoned food in small portions served on HUGE plates. I'll never understand why steakhouses think they can pull off items like stir fry or pasta. I didn't realize that Lone Star had actually merged with a private equity firm that made them a better company all around. Too bad that Roadhouse didn't go forth with theirs when Steakhouse Partners made them an offer.

Seeing as how they have petitioned the court to basicall abandon what is left, I wouldn't count on it anytime soon. The loan that they got (late) will likely be divvied out ny the trustee to employees that are due wages and maybe back due vendors.

Bababooey, you seem to know an awful lot about RHG. More than just your average employee. Who are you?

OK so what do you think of BONEFISH GRILL, Florida-based chain that has one restaurant on NFB? I've never eaten there but I'm curious because I know someone (a total ****bag) who works there.

Roadhouse grill and texas roadhouse are NOT THE SAME COMPANY, they are 2 totally different companies with the same word in them. As a former manager I can tell you we busted our butts for this company to make them money and got crapped on more and more everyday from our corporate leaders in sunny Florida. They do not care about anything except money, money and more money. They all knew we were going to shut down last week but did not bother to tell anyone. The former Regional director already had a job lined up with another steakhouse, what does that tell you?? he knew what was going to happen. I hope the former owner JOHN METZ, lost alot of money in this deal, because he obviously was not as good as he said he was when he bought us.

If the Texas Roadhouse is somewhat connected to the Roadhouse Grill, would that be another one potentially ready to close?? Just shootin from the hip?

It's a NATIONAL CHAIN, just the WNY locations closed. So yes they can still sell them, DUH. Read the associated story first.

Former manager- you need to know that there were some people who were in upper management (at one time) that did actually care about you- that was why they left- they couldnt continue to watch with their hands tied. You were appreciated very much by them. I am sorry this happened to all of you.

Texas Roadhouse in Tonawanda is not connected to the Roadhouse Grill chain. They're both owned by different companies and Texas has been doing really well lately.

I absolutely second KY Greg's on George Urban and Fat Bob's along with BW's as great places to have BBQ. Pricing is right, and the food is absolutely worth it.

I think they were doing awsome, great food an service, but the floors with peanut shells is a downside but overall i'd say it was one of the best places to eat. they were packed everyday mostly around dinner but lunch too, nothings adds up to me why they shut down. i'm gonna miss eating there and i hope one day they come back.

Is it possible to post the Interviews conducted at the Roadhouse grill (transit road location) regarding the unethical, immediate and inconsiderate shut of this resturant? Thank you if you can.

I worked at roadhouse for a long time. I must say im very upset at the way they handled this. I amost embrassed to say that i work for that company. To hold your employee first 2 paychecks have them work for a week knowing that your not going to pay them is wrong but what is really dirty is that they changed our pay day the week that depew store closed knowing that all the other stores were going to close in hope that if they changed the pay day they wouldnt have to pay us. thats not even the worst part what really embrasses me is that the 3 stores in buffalo that stayed open through mothers day took your money for gift card knowing that they were going to close. I dont believe 4 one min that they didnt no we were going to close. This is not a joke the owner email address is Jmetz@rremc.com i think every1 should emial him with all the question and comments about what you should do with your useless gift card while hes spending you money im so happy i dont work for a company like that anymore

i just had to add my two cents on a couple of comments i saw.for comment 34 you cannot buy the rolls at sams dope we made them in house, and for the other comment that we need to look for busser and dishwasher jobs in buffalo.....well i guess some idiots gotta have their own thoughts, but just so you know it takes skills to be a cook,or in my case a chef.so we wont be needing to look for a dishwasher or busser job

As a resident in Europe, I really do NOT understand how US companies like Road House Grill get away with screwing over their employees, the way they do! No advance notice, no valid reason for being fired, no holiday pay or unemployment insurance, no health cover!Dreadful situation for the unfortunate folk who have worked so hard for so very little.

Well as stated a few pages ago I was an employee with them for many years (in many different positions). I also googled them many times and read their filings as well as every little article that may have passed people by for the past year (or lack thereof).

if in fact they were selling gift cards knowing they were closing that is FRAUD..people need to file a complaint with the attorney generals office or the consumerprotection organization..I had the same thing happen when I bought something from SUN t.v and they were selling extended warrenty's knowing that the company was closing the next day..Its a crime what companies get away with
