I could tell they were heading for closure a while ago. The food wasn't as good and they changed the menu, too bad, no more kids eat free on Tuesday Nights!!

I wonder if the people spitting peanut shells all over the place had anything to do with it. Can you say HEPATITIS!

People really spit the peanut shells on the floor? I would always break the shells open with my hands and then throw them on the floor.
I have to say this is one of my all time favorite restaurants, sad to see it gone.

we just ate there two Sundays ago. The food was not as good as it usually it. We like it there. It is sad to see it go. Seems like that happens alot in Western New York. I hope they reopen and get back to what they once were. Funny thing is when you drove by they were always packed!!!

What a shame - such a reputable business to go belly up speaks volumes! If anyone reading this is in the restaurant business, especially one who serves alochol, please list all the fees and license's you have to get to stay in business. The State Liquor Authority (SLA) is outrageous and there are numerous other fees/licenses/permits/penaltie s if you don't oblige on time - I'm not surprised this has happened - it's probably just the beginning of many others to follow.
E. Amherst posted - gas prices take down a restaurant. Yes it did, think of the how much their suppliers raised their prices to deliver food, think of how much their National Fuel bill is every month to operate everything in there. If you were a faithful customer of RoadHouse, you know they did not raise prices that much to compensate for the massacre of the "high cost of gas/oil".
I feel bad for the employee's. They probably thought their jobs were safe - unlike working for the auto industry now a days - a big restaurant chain though - who would have thunk!

As an insider, I can tell you that the chain was being mismanaged. The WNY stores were the only ones making money and they were carrying the stores in the rest of the country. The problem was with corporate managment, not local management.

YUK! 300 people out of work suddenly, no forewarning, and no compensatory pay??!!?? that should be illegal!

Sad to see people losing jobs. Personally I thought the food was terrible, and the peanut shells all over the floor, disqusting.

We were just there to celebrat a birthday and there were actually people waiting to sit. I wasn't keen on some of their steaks, but the rolls they brought out were the best! I never had them anywhere else that tasted like those. I hope they open up again.

How sad. my family loved going there. Our favorite place to eat. We will really miss it. I normally wouldn't care, but this one hurts. Hopefully, they will come back, I won't hold my breath. The prvious comment was right, it should be illegal. Why is it they never forewarn people. Those poor employees. I believe "Insider." It's always the working people that suffer. Poor managers are everywhere. It's never them that suffer. I'll keep my fingers crossed, hopefully they will return one day.

All of the restaurants were constantly packed when we drove by, 45-1 hr wait time on weekends, I don't see how it was possible for them to go bankrupt, I loved this restaurant! Our family would go and pick up a dozen of their amazing rolls to go along with our dinner!
