A restoration: Pass CACR 12
The House is to vote this week on CACR 12, which would restore the Legislature's authority to set educational standards and decide how the state will spend taxpayers' money in support of those standards.

I think if the state can mandate what we need to do a the local level with our schools, they need to start financing them 100%. If they can't afford to write the check to support the mandates such as no child left behind, then they need to stay out of our education system.
