Hey...anybody know what JV's wife is up to now? Is she going to try to weezle her way back into substitute teaching this year? I think the Catawba Co. system axed that, didn't they? What about the surrounding school systems? Anybody know?

Is Gilda still receiving $15,000/month to live on, even though she's living rent free in JV Sr's house and probably pays no utilities. If I went to jail, do you think my spouse would be given (free & clear)$15,000/month?

wondering where people get this $15,000 a month for jv's wife? can you cite your source? it was a one time settlement of $15,000. one time. why would you think she would be getting that amount every month? that's ridiculous.

the Hickory paper stated "$15,000/month in a past article many months ago. i hope you are correct that this is not being continued. so since you seem to be in the know, "four77"...tell us, who's keeping up the poor "jail widow"? since she doesn't work (like the rest of the world), i'm sure the $15,000 is long gone. let's remember, we're talking about someone who has been living like a queen with a lavish lifestyle. maybe she's just going out to wherever the money is buried and digging some up whenever needed???

and one more comment about Mrs. J.V. Jr.:
If I were her, I would be so ashamed that I would never show my face in public and I would also stay off of Facebook. I've seen some of her F.B. comments and then that F.B. profile picture of her standing there beside of her jailbird husband...I sure would take that off! Strange how in that picture JV's hair is not nearly as black as it is in on the front page of this week's paper when the devil was sitting there grinning in court. Many say that he has dyed his nasty hair with black shoe polish.

Check out in the FB picture, Gilda is flashing the 10-carat ring that was bought with money from poor widows around here...little old ladies who gave JV,jr their life savings because they trusted the low-life snake! Flash that diamond, Gilda--you're about as guilty as him. Maybe during the trial, he'll 'fess up to that fact and you'll be put in the slammer, too. Ever thought about that?

Is Mrs. JV (Gilda) still home-schooling the chaps? Don't guess she ever got a job, did she? Oh, wait...don't even bother to answer that for she feels she's too good to work! Remember she has survived for the past 18 years off of stolen $$ and I supposed she plans to continue.

Dear "chs" (aka Huffman family member or Huffman lover): I worked 55 hrs this past week at my job, so what I do in my "off" time is "none-ya" business. And if you think I've got time on my hands, what do you think about Mrs. JV? She doesn't "strike at lick" as the old saying goes...all she does is play on Facebook and posts that "God awful" picture of her and Jailbird JV!

So, Bom55, why don't you just be straight up with us and tell us your opinion about Mrs. J.V.? Let's get back on track here. Do you think she's as guilty as him? If not "as" guilty, then do you think she was aware of his thievery?? If you don't answer, then we'll assume you're too chicken to say!

If you go back to when all the posting began Bom55 was a big supporter of Gilda. Said that she had been checking on Gilda. Does Bom55 still do that. Comments on the other post above were that at the auction a neighbor of theirs was telling that she gets 10 a month now not 15. If we are paying for JV lawyers they are not paying legal fees. Josh has a job and is supporting himself. Emily has been gone and on her own since he was arrested. She picked herself up and had a job three days after her daddy was arrested. She pays for her own schooling works a full time job to make ends meet. Why can Gilda not do what a 19 year old does. Where does this money come from? I heard at the auction she is home schooling. I have no problem with that the two younger ones they have have suffered so much because of their parents stupidity and greed but Gilda could work a job and home school in the evenings. They live right the next to Sr and Doris. There are other family they could stay with during the day while she gets a job and works like the rest of us.

..I don't think she knew exactly what Jr. was doing and I don't think she really tryed to find out. The word on the street is, don't bite the hand that feeds you. There is alot of money still unacounted for, and it just didn't vanish into thin air.
