Open labor market = open borders

According to Tony, we should open up the border to everyone. How much will we have to rasie taxes to pay for schools, jails, hospitals for all the illegals? He is crazy.

We need to seal the border. Donnelly has ideas that can work. Sending illegal prisoners to Mexiico to serve their time, lower costs to us, more work below the border for Mexicans, and the illegals are closer to home. We could build a prison right on the border where the prisoners would be in Mexico, but we could inspect from the US side.

Donnelly has my vote!

You cannot have open borders AND a welfare atate. Milton Friedman (An original libertarian) understood this.

Donnelly is a clown. He will never show up for any debate. He can't stand the pressure of debates, so why do we think he can stand the pressure in Sacrament.

We need to try a libertarian for once. Let's give the guy a chance.

Donelly is a great guy. Libertarian Tony is good but he is not a contender in this race.

I am voting for Donnelly!

If Donnelly is such a great guy, then why doesn't he ever show up for debates. I am not going to vote for a man with no backbone.

First, you are smewhat right. That is why Tony Tyler advocates welfare reform (leading to welfare elimination) as well as a sane guest worker program. Most illegal immigrants in America would rather work here during part of the year and live in Mexico. It is the restrictions on travel across the border that cause them to become trapped here and bring their families in.
Second, Milton Friedman was a good man but by no means an original Libertarian. The Austrian economic school is far more libertarian than the Chicago school (of which Friedman was a member). David Friedman (Milton's so)n and David's son, Patri, are far more libertarian.
So... let's come up with a sane immigration policy that allows for freedom of travel AND eliminate the welfare state. That is what Tony Tyler is for. That is why I support him. Besides, Donnelly really is an idiot and has no real ideas about how to change California for the better.

Maybe he is knocking doors and speaking to his constituents/voters. Donnelly appears to be a most genuine candidate.

People don't pay too much attention to political debates anymore....swamped with lip services by the wannabes.
