SCAG and it's local government member's are just another circle inthe sand operation, to waste away the public's hard earned tax dollars. In reality SCAG is just a money pit for tax payers dollars to provide a vehicle for political ladder climber's.

But given the gross inaccuracy of SCAG's work data to date.

Should we really be taking them seriously?

Or should we do the logical thing when presented with the demands of people as hopelessly wrong as they have been.

A recient provocative investigative piece on the need for transit and transportation investment in tough economic times.

But imagine if we all saw the Big Picture and built our jobs and shopping closer to where we lived and did not have to drive to the next village or county to shop.

(Disclosure: SCAG is a client of Gallagher 20/20.)

Everyone already knows of the trouble, turmoil, and grief that this one person was able to put the world and his own people through. Though I find it doubtful, perhaps his son will see the ways of the new century and decide that he can do so much more for his nation and the entire world by working with instead of against his people and the world.

Even nations such as China and Russia have and are learning that it is much easier to work with, other nations of the world, than wanting to have everything as they would like. Having served in Korea and seeing first hand, albeit from across the border, what these people live through is truly a shame.

That being said, I've seen other posts today, that compare the poverty and harshness of what the people are going through and the similarities of what our own nation is enduring as a result of the actions and decisions made by our own government. Yes, we do have leaders that are concerned about themselves and want to live in a lifestyle, beyond what the masses live; and yes our leaders provide special favors for those who fund and support their interests. I guess one could say it is as they are willing and able to buy the government and the decisions that are made. However, as so many people are going through such a horrible period in their lives as a result of the action/inaction of our government, hopefully, this too shall pass. In North Korea, this has been life for generations.

We can do something about it, in our nation. We can vote those in Congress out of office and hopefully install a government that will address the needs of the many, instead of looking out for themselves and the 1%. We can have a voice in choosing leaders that will address the things that are wrong in our nation, that can be fixed. We can demand that change occurs through the election process, recalling leaders, or demanding resignations, until we have a Congress and government that is: "by the people and for the people". We have a chance to do this in 2012.

This is how we can demand change, by uniting as one nation and one voice, not dividing up, to look out only for ourselves. We all need each other and if things get better for those living in poverty within our own nation, it will undoubtedly lead to things getting better for all classes of Americans.

Denser development makes no sense whatsoever in communities like Glendora, California where people have moved to raise families and enjoy a suburban lifestyle.

Be aware, we are watching you, know what a sham the SCAG and members are and how your efforts are shackling the very people you have, as elected officials, been sworn to serve.

SCAG's projections are a joke.

They are wrong far more often than they are right. Thee just a bunch of scheming Ponzi-wallstreet crooks.

Midway through the last decade SCAG predicted huge population increases here due to immigration from other states.

Told everyone to build as fast as they could. Instead people began leaving the state.

They're certified idiots.

Another California political spending platform.

SCAG s nothing more than a bunch of Communist Party Bosses getting together to divid up the spoils of free money form The Feds, State an County.

New SCAG President Greg Pettis Spent $92,000 for Travel With A City Backed Credit Card, Owes $500,000 on 5 Student Loans and 50 Credit Cards.

This Organization and it's member's should all be arrested and thrown in prison. Since they are all a bunch of blood sucking leechs, worthless at best and political toads.

Let's Bag on SCAG for a Minute

Our utterly clueless regional planning organization, the Southern California Association of Governments (or SCAG if you like pretty acronyms), was recently featured in a rather uncritical Pasadena Star News article called "Economic summit addresses jobs, poverty in Southern California."

You can click here to read it in its entirety.

Basically what this article tells us is SCAG believes a lot of people are poor around these parts, they don't have particularly nice houses to live in, and somehow didn't get the educations they need to compete in a world run by smart and capable people. It really can be tough out there, especially if you didn't bother to take the time to properly prepare yourself for it.

But never fear. SCAG, which is run by a former Soviet apparatchik (link) and devours $10s of millions of dollars in state and federal tax dollars yearly, all to do some mighty thinking about just these kinds of problems, has a solution. Are you ready? Here it is:

SCAGís Regional Action Plan on Poverty was developed by its business advisory group, the Global Land Use & Economics (GLUE) Council. It identifies three large-scale initiatives for immediate action.

The first could potentially create hundreds of thousands of construction jobs to improve and repair the regionís aging transportation infrastructure through SCAGís Regional Transportation and Sustainable Communities Strategy.

Much like the nationís Works Progress Administration (WPA) program during the Depression, the plan would provide construction jobs for people who desperately need work.

There it is. SCAG (or is it GLUE) wants to solve society's ills by bringing back a cutting edge solution from the 1930s. You know, way back during the depression era.

Compare that with what is going on at companies like Tesla today and you can get a pretty good idea of just how archaic and useless SCAG really is. A unmitigated waste of valuable taxpayer dollars.

It's time to start pulling the plug on the past. And that would certainly include SCAG.
