Cory Biggs has filed an objection to the Glendora Wal-Mart remodel.
Cory Biggs who was hired by ERICA LANDMANN-JOHNSEY and the Recalled Glendora Mayor John Harrold's Group to bring the "Friends of Glendora" (ERICA LANDMANN-JOHNSEY ,KRISTIN PARISI, JOHN HARROLD, MARK SMITH) action against Glendora.
Briggs estimates that he's filed at least six lawsuits against Wal-Mart since 2004, including suits filed in Barstow, Rialto and Murrieta.
There may not be multiple "Murrietans for Smart Growth," as the nonprofit's name would suggest, but the attorney representing the group recently produced one, in response to a court order.
The Judge ordered Briggs to produce one member of the group that lived or worked in Murrieta. Briggs produced Richard Lawrence who lives in San Diego and has no business affiliation to Murrieta, let alone Riverside County, according to court documents.
"This lawsuit has every appearance of legal extortion," Barstow Mayor Lawrence Dale said in a statement. "It is my opinion that the Briggs Law Corp. is no better than an 'ambulance chasing' attorney, but instead of chasing accident victims they're chasing the deep pockets of Wal-Mart."

Another Cory Briggs shake down...
Cory Briggs is, really really concerned about the Albertsons in northwest Ontario.
Why is Briggs worried about the Kroger unit (Ralphs) and the SuperValu unit (Albertsons), but not about WalMart or Target?
Well, I won't say the name of the organization that links the two grocery stores, but its initials are UFCW.
You probably already know how UFCW feels about WalMart.
Of more than 1,400 Target stores employing more than 300,000 people nationwide, not one has a union. Employees at various stores say an anti-union message and video is part of the new-employee orientation. At stores in the Twin Cities, where Target is headquartered, the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) union Local 789 has been trying for several years to help Target employees organize, with little luck.
"People ask what the difference between Wal-Mart and Target is," said UFCW organizer Bernie Hesse. "Nothing, except that Wal-Mart is six times bigger."
So, in response to Matt Munson's question regarding "what accommodations...could be made" to get the WalMart in Ontario approved, it's really very simple - unionize the entire WalMart workforce, and Briggs will cease his opposition to the project.

Elementary Principal Terri Thelmas, 75 students and their parents were kicked off Wal-Mart property September 12, 2012 Wednesday.
The Miramar principal and her students were simply trying to sing God Bless America to honor the fallen heroes of 9-11.
The manager called Pembroke Pines police to have them removed from the property.

Workers in Elwood, Illinois, have been on strike since September 15, 2012.
They are protesingt what Warehouse Workers for Justice called "management's illegal retaliation against workers, attempting to present the company their concerns about wage theft, unsafe conditions and discrimination."
Workers at a Southern California warehouse that supplies Wal-Mart also went on strike last September 2012, for 15 days.

Many Americans feel this was the same style of operations that Wal-Mart used to get so many stores built in the USA..
So far Wal-Mart officials have refused to take ploygraph exams. The question is, did wal-mart use bribes to build USA stores?
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. says internal investigation into its Mexico subsidiary paid bribes to get stores built continues in Mexico.
The New York Times reports, 19 store sites across Mexico were the target of Wal-Mart bribes.

The latest nation wide survey of stores, Wal-Mart made the bottom of the list again.
Will Wal-Mart end up investing in a loser of a store in Glendora, California?

You are not telling it like it was, Erica represented her neighborhood of over 123 residents who did jot want the oversized assistant loving building in their neighborhood . They hired Briggs to fight the city council and they won.

I might add hiring Cory Biggs had nothing to do with John Harold or Kristin Parisi or Mark Smith. It was a neighborhood issue. Why must you muck up every issue with your own warped bunch of lies?

All those people were joined at the hip for years regarding city issues City Worker and if you're saying otherwise you're an idiot and a liar. Where you don't hear much from any of them now except for the town disgrace Smith, they acted together on many issues and campaigns and the town pretty much told them no thanks and I guess they finally got the message except for Clown Boy and Eddie the Gnome.

your the idiot, tessitor wanted to build the assisted living center on a way too small lot, he wanted a 7 story building adjacent to one story homes and he almost got it, the neighborhood pulled together and fought the city council without help from out of the neighborhood people like you. Your so screwed up all you can think about is Smith, he was not involved, I was and I know he was not involved. There was no help on this issue from outside the hood, there were cries for help but none was forthcoming, all the rest of Glendora looked the other way. When I read jackass comments like yours I could barf.

Hey Dopey, all of Erica's friends supported her and her friends efforts in stopping the building. I don't remember who were members of Friends of Glendora and could care less. Get it? I said "all those people" not just Smith you bonehead. They were all about each other's campaigns and causes and if you believe otherwise you're as dumb as a rock cause even they'll tell you that.

Once again a fair and honest polling of customers have pronounced these results: Did yeah see the national report about how LOW the ratings numbers are for Wal-Mart? How does this effect the expansion plans for Glendora's Wal-Mart?
