As the illegal aliens leave, this country must take the the opportunity to fortify its borders in preparation for the next wave f them when the economy recovers.

The government has been lying to you......again.

The BIG LIE......

They keep saying there are only 12 million illegal immigrants in our United States.

FACT: In the last 22 years, over 26 million illegals, have been apprehended, after crossing the border, into our United States. THE PROBLEM IS: Less than 1, out of 4, of the invading illegals, are estimated to have been apprehended.

According to the U.S. Immigration Service another 6 million illegals in our country are visa overstays.

There are, AT LEAST, 40 million illegal immigrants in our United States..........

there are 8.7 million illegals working at on-the-books jobs that they used forged, and/or stolen, identities, to illegally obtain.

there are at least that many more illegals working under the table, for unscrupulous employers, as part of the underground economy.

there are over 5 million illegal immigrant students overcrowding our schools, all at American taxpayer expense.

Illegal immigrants cost American taxpayers over 300 billion dollars a year.

And we're supposed to feel what? Sorry for them? NOOOOO, NO, NO, NO, NO. If they felt just one iota of the economic pain that they've been causing us for years and years, well, they still wouldn't care, would they. They'll just steal a few more identities, pop some more squat and drop brats out, suck what's left of our economy dry and, basically, go on making the lives of legal American citizens miserable.

Until our C.S. government stops bending over for a foreign country and its hordes of illegal alien, criminal invaders, we'll continue to be treated, by our own government, like we're the criminals.

The article quoting Pew center seems skewed toward all Mexicans but it is mostly the illegals that are unemployed.Does the Pew center have any numbers on Americans that are unemployed? E-VERIFY is a must that needs to be put into law with VERY stiff penalties for employers that do not comply. We also must stop the social programs for non-citizens and give them to needy Americans.

There is also a Pew center that figures all statistics, not just Hispanics.

Nice.$14000 sound systems in their trucks, at $7/hr income. Gee, at $7/hr for income, I was barely able to put food on the table for myself and two kids. What the f&ck was I doing wrong?

And these lovey dovey 'feed-the-children' types don't see anything wrong with this??

I realize the error of my ways: I wasn't able/willing to rip off the government to get WIC, TANF and food stamps, Section 8. I wouldn't live 25 people to a house. I worked ON THE BOOKS. I paid for things like health insurance, automobile insurance, and taxes. My bad.

btw, why is he complaining about supporting his 20 and 18 year old??? the kids are old enough to not need a stay at home mom. his wife can look for more work than just 'on the weekends' and the kids are certainly old enough to support themselves. so many of the female illegals i had the pleasure of working with at pomona valley hospital were all 'homemakers' or 'stay at home moms' when they either 1)had no children at home, 2) had no home to 'make', 3) and/or majority lived in devastating poverty. it certainly begs the question when many American families have to be two-income households yet illegals come here and think they can continue with the traditional 'stay at home' wife lifestyle. whether its 'cultura' or 'machismo', if you have mouths to feed, your *** needs to get out and work. most women should be so fortunate to be able to stay at home with their children...and if you want to continue that lifestyle, don't complain about the dire poverty you are in. and before the La Raza d*bags come on here saying that the women cant get jobs because of childcare issues, language barriers, tough tortillas. why the hell are they here then? to sit at home and push out more kids? how is that a better life? and how is an unemployed female with 4-5 kids on average with no job skills or English proficiency a 'benefit' to this country? so many pro amnesty people who claim America was built on the backs of immigrants soon forget that for every hardworking immigrant, there is usually an unemployed unskilled stay at home spouse and several children who do not contribute.

The here fascists have no idea what they are talking about. I am ashamed to call you Americans.

These folks believe have a right to better themselves anywhere they want that trumps this stupid legal/illegal garbage.

You all should grow up and understand what America is before denigrating my country with your racist drivel.

You folks better stop worrying about Mexicans and start worrying about keeping your job, house, car.

2009 will be the PERFECT STORM:
- more layoffs
- more forclosures
- more bankruptcies

Mexicans can survive in any economy.

we need to take care of the local population first, then worry about the illegals later. Let mexico take care of their own. In order to get the american economy working again , we need to employ american workers first, allowing the local and national economies to expand with american workers, not illegals. Also , american manufacturers need to bring plants and jobs back to the states again.

Well, well, well. They are finally starting to realize how poor Americans feel? WONDERFUL! The first lesson in compassion for others is to walk a mile in their mocassins. Can't feel sorry for those who are simply learning life lessons. See? They are no better here than in Mexico. It's funny, people berate me for being against illegal entrants and accuse me of being rich 'cause I have a computer....and I just LOL and LOL! These illegals had computers before I EVER got one! I'm beginning to think those people ARE the illegal gate-crashers are the ones talking trash about me and oh of course the potheads who want their suppliers to have a clear border to cross. Nope. They've stabbed me in the back for the last time. Now it's our turn. Pump it up.

well.well, well, maybe now they will realize and maybe understand how many americans[legal]feel when they cant get employed because someone takes all the jobs by working for peanuts and crying foul when to really qualify for true rights in america you need to be legal as was once required by the laws of the united has nothing to do with race so dont cry racism on this issue.

the PEW Hispanic Center sucks.. and lies. They NEVER supported the 'native Hispanic Population' in their whole time of being and while they may now, the critical part is.. when it counted, they supported the very illegal aliens that took the jobs from Hispanic Americans, AND.. destroy their neighborhoods with narcotics from the mexican Mafia.

The Pew Hispanic Center sucks!

The Pew Foundation was set up by the Ford Foundation. An immediate outgrowth was the Pew Hispanic Center. But when you looked, you discovered Ford wanted open border so bad they hurt. Then you looked at the board of directors, and the Ford Foundation had two people on the Pew Foundation.

Ford wanted open borders, and the people who would have been hurt the most in that stupid idea were the Hispanic Americans.

Its hard everywhere. I'm sure now that a lot of immigrants realize that now even the jobs here in the promise land are gone, they wil head back home and return when our economy is stronger. But those of us born and raise here, have no choice but to stick this out. I am an American, have worked for over 20 years, and now I cant find a job for anything! Its been long 9 months, and I dont have another country to run to, at least they can go look for work back where they came from!
