Whittier could face lawsuit over lease with Matrix Oil Co.

I live just houses from the hills and I am for drilling. The whining from my neighbors should stop. A city council is responsible to all 80,000 residents, not just us well-off folks. So freeing up parks money to spend elsewhere is a good thing.

That said, lets all unite on one principle: when this happens, the extra parks money should go into a DOG PARK!!!

Whittier needs just one dog park!!!

I say put it at Michigan Ave Park close to the hills (Penn Park is closer, but there are always so many events there), to benefit the residents close to the hills that will allegedly "suffer".
