I am stunned by this verdict. Wasn't there a "tapped confession"? All cops should walk off there jobs in protest.

This is what happens when you have idiots with no legal experience or law enforcement training hearing a case they no nothing about. They let drug dealers and cop shooters back on the street. I sympathize and pray for the officer and his family...

Yes, indeed this is sad and, an irresponsible investigation was conducted. First, Pittburgh officers got two suspects that were released and not thoroughly investigated. And then, two others picked up and charged with this crime. After a trial, one of the men was not charged but the other one is. If that does not sound cofusing enough, the young man that they found guilty(Emilio Rivera) is as innocent as Andrejco. Yes, these officers had a confession. A confession that was coursed and beaten out of them.
In the public eye, Emilio has already been convicted way before the trial took place. The police and the media made sure of that.
All that I am gong to leave you with is the following: Can Emilio Rivera be as innocent as Andrejco and the other two suspects that they had innitially arrested? Yes, this young man is innocent. Help stop the injustice.
We are sad about Officer Kuzak and we pray for him and his family but we need any information that might be out there so that an innocent man will not go to jail. Help "FREE EMILIO".

maybe they can go out with OJ and search for "the real shooters."
my ass!
That confession was not beaten out of him, it was a taped conversation with another thug. The bastards skated, but never fear..they will keep screwing up, just like OJ and go to prison for something else. Let's just hope they don't kill anyone in the meantime snce they just got a license to kill.

First of all this is not the 1960's confessions are not "BEATEN OUT OF PEOPLE" It's sad that you have that mind set but not at least suprising at all. After the trial one man was found guilty as the other should have been found guilty. The one man was smiling and laughing as he was led away in handcuffs. Smiling and laughing because yet another piece of garbage got away with a crime that he should have been locked up for.

Dear Disgusted,
I know that confessions are not beaten out of people, I only said that because people who criticize guilty verdicts say that.
I should have put it in quotation marks. i am married to a cop.
It is a legal system, not a justice system. Sometimes there is no justice.
And nobody was found guilty of shooting Office Kuzak, just the burglary.
I believe that Jordan Miles was innocent. Why do people compare the cases?
Because the cops screwed up on one case, another cop pays for it. These people are insane....Making a racial issue out of it.

The cases cannot be compared at all, they are two diffrent sets of circumstances. There is a huge difference between getting beat and taking a bullet and possibly siting in a wheel chair for the rest of your life. My quote This is not the 1960's was directed towards "mimi following the case" A few texts above ours.

What ever happened to the good old days of being able to put people in there place? Those involved should be beaten until they are paralyzed by the police! If they knew punishment would follow things wouldn't be this out of control but everyone is soo worried about rights! What happened to the victims rights when the person was being hurt? No concern for that persons rights or safety or health were a concern and therefore they shouldn't be a concern when dealing with people who victimize others!
