Don't any of you people that know Johnny speak English? You should be ashamed of yourself, calling Ms. Flo (dat old lady). Where are your manners? Show some respect for the older people. Don't you want people to respect your family? Learn to be a little bit more nicer to the older people. You will be old one day.

GOTTI. I find it funny that you decided to make your nickname that of another murderer. That makes 2 people that you have supported murdering defenseless people. You lack class, intelligence, and an education. You need to turn on the news or open the news paper. OR BETTER YET OPEN YOUR BEADY LITTLE EYES. Your "BRO" was completely linked to Flo Ranta's house with his bloody finger prints and bloody shoes. Please, do you think that someone dressed up at that waste of human flesh Johnie Washington and wore his shoes and somehow had the same finger prints. You are even dumber than you sound!!!! I imagine that whats his face waste of flesh will spend the rest of his life in jail.. thinking about Flo Ranta pleading for her life. Thinking about the fact that he robbed everyone that knew her NOT JUST HER. What we really need to do is put "The Waste" in an electric chair and watch him FRY. I would HAPPILY watch him suffer. I would be one of many. I do however find comfort that at 15 years old The Waste will never in life have a job or function in society IF in the event he should ever step foot outside of jail and attempt to function as a normal adult.. because UNFORTUNATELY employers these days don't have a place in their successful businesses for MURDERERS. The only job The Waste is going to have from here on out is to be someones FRESH MEAT in jail. Flo Ranta may have not known what hit her at the time of her murder, but I am very sure that The Waste will know what it feels like to be taken advantage of in jail by ruthless criminals. That almost brings a smile to my face. He is going to need all the support he can get, because he doesn't have an icicles chance in hell in getting out of this one. I hope you rot in hell Johnie Washington. I commend you on a crime NOT WELL DONE, and for being so sloppy and stupid to lead the detectives right to your door step. You must be so proud of yourself.

Dat bro johnny killt dat nice elderly lady. Dat foo aint no innocent. He da punk dat got picked up by da five-0. Da only way he framed wad if some foo dragged johnny to da scene and forced da bro to put his printz all over da place. Peace out, mad props South Siide, and all that other dumbass bullshit.

Okay, now that we've dumbed it down for Johnny's friends, let's move on.

One of the things I find funny is that you have FRIEND OF JOHNNY sitting here saying "He didn't do this. He had help". Ummm pardon me stupid, but in two sentences, which are barely cohesive, you say "He didn't do this. He did it".

What's worse is, with every single statement made from Johnny's friends, you begin to see what kind of people he surrounded himself with, and begin to get an outlook of exactly what kind of misguided kid Johnny actually is.

Mark,
you just made my day! you are completely right. The waste of life has friends, that no matter what, even if they turn him into the cops for driving the car, will stand beside him no matter what. Funny thing is the piece of scum is going to rot in jail.. but he is definitely going to be some big mans play toy for a while. I am sure that's a feeling he will NEVER forget. Good work on the ebonics too, very fitting.

I know of Johnny(Trey)through Pony Baseball. Does anyone ever think a child would do such a vicious crime? I feel bad for both families. No, that poor woman did not deserve to be beaten and left to die. her family should not have to endure the pain and suffering they are going through and my heart goes out to them. Johnny's family also don't deserve what they are going through. In a situation like this everyone hurts. Johnny, should receive a punishment that he deserves for this crime. If he's guilty of harming this woman the way he did then whats to say he wouldn't hurt someone else. The children of the Clairton community need to stop thinking that violence is the answer to being big, bad and tough. Every night someone is being shot or beat and it's young children supposedly doing these crimes. What happens when its one of their loved ones that become the victim?

I don't quite get the concept of people saying IF he did it. He DID do it. His bloody finger prints were on the phone, maybe they got there when he cut the phone line when he left her to die. He could have robbed her without murdering if he just HAD to do that for some personal gratification. You know why he murderer her? Because she KNEW WHO HE WAS. How can you feel bad for the idiots family? Why wasn't anyone desperately looking for him when his neighbor was left for dead? No instead no one thought of the fact that their 15 year old son/relative was out ALL NIGHT LONG. Let's pretend for a second he didn't murder her..well then why wasn't anyone concerned for his well being? Why wasn't anyone worried that he could have possibly been hurt by this savage beast that committed such a horrific crime. Because this kid came from a broken home, and now everyone is going to BOO HOO about it. Face it. This kid is a murderer at 15. His life as a functioning adult will be non existent. And hopefully when the law has it's final say he will be non existent in our society as well.

I don't feel bad for Johnny at all. I don't know Johnny's family background. Whether it's a broken home or not. I agree that at 15 he's a murderer. he could of stole anyone's car off the street without hurting them. I do feel bad for the family though. i have children of my own. They are raised with two working parents and i would never in a million years think that my children would do something so horrific. It shouldn't matter what type of family life this child came from. The fact are the evidence points to him. Im sure just as much as Mrs. Ranta's family is grieving so is his. It's a sad loss for the whole community. Once again if all the evidence is correct he deserves to rot.

I have 2 sons. 1 is 28yrs old and the other one is 31 years old. They came from a working family of 2 parents. They were raised to show respect and have manners towards others, especially their elders. We attended the community church. Both had educations above the 12'th grade, and they both had good paying jobs. They were both murdered by strangers 3 years apart. I've acquired alot of knowledge about murderers through my own experience. A murderer will never tell on themselves. They know they've already murdered someone so what more do they have left except to lie. There is no remorse. The family and friends of the murderer will lie; for what reasons-I don't know. They do not care how sad or how bad the family has been hurt. They don't care about anyone except themselves. They don't care that a life was taken. You ask yourself eveyday how someone could do this, but you never get an answer. If it is a proven fact that a person murders someone I think the murderer should be taken from the courtroom after sentencing and put straight to death! They don't lose any sleep anyhow is the way I look at it! I am all for the Death Penalty Stat!!

Amen! The death penalty needs to be quicker. Maybe these people would think twice about what they were doing if MAYBE our justice system sped up the punishment a little faster. Even if you get the death penalty you will sit rotting on death row for 15-30 years.. and THAT IS TOO LONG! I think we should televise it too. That'd really be a wake up call.. maybe! but I think some people will do it regardless because like you said, they have no regard for the fact that they have a family or people they might hurt (forget about the countless others that will also be affected). Sorry about your two sons motherless mother. It breaks my heart that you have to live with that every single day. Fortunately, they are with God now and are experiencing a life that we could only HOPE to achieve down here. It doesnt look like that would be happening anytime soon with all of this senseless violence.

Excuse me....The correct spelling is lady.

And there is a great deal of evidence (i.e. forensics, witnesses) that all point to the fact that your friend Johnie killed that sweet, caring lady. If you are right, and Johnie did have accomplices, then why isn't your innocent Johnie squeeling with other names that can be tied to the scene with evidence? Why have the police only found evidence that points to Johnie? Why did Johnie initially say the size 8 1/2 shoes belonged to his friend who wore a size twelve? We all know Johnie, and truthfully know that he has taken a turn to the dark side over the past two years. People like you are why these immoral people continue to commit senseless crimes. In society, the criminal/murderer is never held accountable for his/her actions from his/her friends/family due to no sense of reality. No one deserves to die senslessly. Especially for some 15 year old punk to take his friends on a joyride to parties and bars. I hope that the jury and God will have their judgement on Johnie and serve him a helping of hard justice. An eye for an eye...a tooth for a tooth.

I also pray for healing for Miss Flo's family.

These children need other influences and to be taught some values/morals. They all think that the "thug life" is the way to go. They need to be taught that there are other options.

That's the whole problem. Maybe if these kids would have some respect, there would not be any robberies or murders. They all need an academic and moral education!

Wonder where these childrens parents are? If the parents work, is there a responsible adult monitoring their activities. Parental guidance plays the biggest role in any childs future. The parents or guardian should also have to answer for the character and actions of this monster. We are held accountable for our children during school hours, and we are held just as accountable for them at home. When a 15 year old commits such a senseless brutal murder on an elderly person, he should be put to death. When an attack occurs, the assailant knows before hand that death can occur from any type of beating, especially a violent one. There is no excuse for any adult or teenager not to know this. It's common sense. Would a murderer dare to hurt themselves, ABSOLUTELY NOT! Does a murderer know what pain fills like, ABSOLUTELY! Does a murderer know how to lie, ABSOLUTELY. Should a murderer be put to death, "YES, ABSOLUTELY!" Ms. Flo and all of the other murdered victims deserve that as justice for their last right..........

Bottom line, Johnny Washington is a piece of trash. I think that's what we're all getting at. He should be put to death, the same way he killed Flo Ranta. Bottom line.

I have read all of the post re: this inicident and I am sad about the whole issue. I am a former Clairtonian and still have family living there. I remember Ms. Flo as a young person growing up and know that she was a kind and gentle person who wouldnt harm a flea and didnt deserve to have her life taken away. I knew Johnie when he was a little boy and know his family. I was shocked and appauled when I heard that this young man could be so cruel to do something like this to a woman that he knew. To all of those who think that he didnt do it (it's ok) because the writing is on the wall or should I say his prints are on the phone. Let us not be divided by ignorance to defend the guilty if he had an accomplance then he needs to speak, but until then let JUSTICE BE SERVED. No man (young or old) has the right to say when a persons life should end at their hands. She didnt deserve this and we all need to Pray because it could have been us or one of our family members. To the family of Ms.Flo stay strong and may God Bless you and keep you as you deal with everything and stay strong and know that Justice will happen. To the Meade family Look to God for forgiveness of Tre's sins and clarity of why he did this.

Non Threat, before you walk around telling people that they have no life, you may wish to take a peek into the mirror. After all, you're the one that is actively seeking out posts made by friends and family of David Long (MURDERED by your friend Cory Hopton), just to tell them how pathetic they are, meanwhile you sit and blindly defend a murderer based on the fact that you know him (which doesn't say much for Cory, or you for that matter). Really...who is more in need of a life here?

As for education, I personally have graduated high school, been to college twice, earned a degree in business management and marketing, and a degree in computer science. I have additionally earned a degree in Graphic Design & Media, and was enlisted for 8 years in the US Army as a Special Forces/Black Ops Communications Officer.

However, since you're obviously so much better than everyone else here, I'm extremely interested in hearing about your education level, or lack thereof, before you continue babbling nonsensical rantings of a delusional idiot in need of a reality check.

Unlike Dave, I do love a good argument, and while I would prefer face to face, this will just have to do for now. So let's roll out the mat and get on with it. I like nothing more than a battle of intelligence with an unarmed person.

what kind of clairty could it possibly bring? Johnie Washington had a decision to make. He did not have to do this. He did not have to take a knife and slit Flo Ranta's throat. He did not need to murder her, he did not have to listen to her plead for her life and continue what he was doing, he did not have to cut her phone line so she couldnt get any help for herself. If his family would have kept a better eye on the scum maybe this never would have happened. Bottom line, the way you are raised has a lot to do with how people turn out. And this is a case just like that. When I sit in the court room of this trial, and I will.. I intend to look his family in the face, even Johnie himself to see if there is any remorse. I guarantee that somehow his family will complain that he came from a broken home and say that he was trouble. That's not the case. Troubled or NOT you know the difference between right and wrong. I hope his family does a better job at raising his younger sister.. because maybe she won't turn out to be a spawn of the devil or like her brother for that matter.
