At 4 years old he could tell you the make and model of any car on the street. It was amazing!

Congrats,Butch, you will truly enjoy your retirement. You have been a great asset to our community.

Hi Butch
Congratulations on your retirement. It seems like yesterday that you was shadowing your dad's every step. I definitely knew back then that someday you would be a real asset to society. Thank you for your many years of service and enjoy your retirement.

I remember when the Fire Dept's resident accountant took another job right before budget-time; Ken stepped up to the plate and worked with the City's Finance budget team, displaying a well-grounded knowledge of accounting and budget practices. The budget staff was very grateful.

Hey Ken, congratulations on your well earned retirement. I

f you remember, I worked with Ken Longman down in Redlands up until 2000, when I jumped ship to LA County Fire Department. I really enjoyed meeting you and enjoyed our time spent at the San Jose Fire conferences. Please don't hesitate to stop in and say hello at LA Co. FD FS149 in Castaic at the bottom of the Grapevine on your way to down see Ken.

Here's hoping you and your family enjoy retirement!

Take Care,

Capt. Greg Hitchcock

Ken,

Congratulations on you retirement and thank you for your dedicated service to our community. When I was in the Reserve Firefighter Program, you were a great wealth of knowledge and very helpful with any training that was needed.
You were also well known at Sacramento Metro Fire by some of the old Citrus Heights FD guys (former CHFD Residents).
