Me thinks there is a lot more to this story. What was the "property" being sold, and why would a guy drive from Elk Grove to meet his "buyers"?

I listed a fax machine on CL and the buyer drover here from Lodi. It happens all the time.

I can understand a buyer traveling, but I'll bet you wouldn't drive to Lodi to deliver it.

A couple of little punks.. took two of these monkeys and they still failed at the job. They should be putting their tail between their hairy arse legs and running back to mamma.

It depends on the item and how much money is involved, but not a fax machine for $50.

How sad. I just don't trust Craigs List, but my realtor loves purchasing things off of Craigs List.

They probably wouldn't make it through Marine Boot Camp! The FEW, the PROUD, the MARINES!!! I just don't get the feeling that applies to CraigsList Robbers!

WOW, he's only 16! Remember the original Craigslist killer, that was robbing and killing prostitutes? I swear, with the advances in technology, it opens up more doors for criminals, but I guess that's what happens when we move forward. Very sad. I'm sure the creator of CraigsList didn't have this in mind when they created it.
