Did you even try to talk to somebody from the Nurses' union? Or are you just shilling for the hospitals now?

I for one am a dedicated nurse. I am willing to strike for my patients and safe staffing. Do you know that when a nurse goes on break another nurse cares for your family member. This nurse already has a full complement of patients. It is against California law to go over the ratio but it happens all the time. It is UNSAFE!! We also are asking for a lift team so your family member can be turned at night without waiting for help. Management says they can't afford it!! Our strike is not about money it is about SAFE STAFFING and PROTECTING OUR PATIENTS!!
