During the Planning Commission meeting, there were some commments made about people who would be exiting the Gold Line, being able to walk north, through the proposed multi-family housing development, and onward to The Village.

If I can just make one thing perfectly clear... the PUC, the BNSF, and whatever agency that will be overseeing/operating the Gold Line WILL NOT allow, under any circumstances, people to walk across the railroad tracks. Period. In order for the future Gold Line riders to be able to walk to the Village, they will have to cross the railroad tracks at the actual crossings at Glendora Ave or Ada Ave.

You will not be allowed to exit the Gold Line, wait for the train to move along, and then walk across the tracks heading north. Platform or no, you will NOT be allowed to cross the tracks. You will only be allowed to cross the tracks at the Glendora or Ada crossings.

....and speaking of housing developments, does anyone know what the occupancy rate is over at the housing development that went in a few years ago behind the BofA and Andrews? I'm not looking for a Mark-style answer. I'm hoping for some actual information.

Boozo - Moreno Valley, Ca. Of course your not informed and haven't read all the design or projected construction plans.

The idea of a elevated crossing bridge was clearly stated by the developer in his plans, over the BNSF and goldline tracks to the goldline plateform - that's not a real train station.

The paperwork involved along with insurance is out of sight, just like your pinhead views!

You and the rest of the Glendora city council have been thinking backwards for so long.

It's my opinion that "just barely" materials are being used to construct these cracker boxes across the street from the US Post Office.

Just barely means the materials surrived the shipping stress but have shelf life after they are applied to the structure.

I have come to the conclusion that low to mod housing is codespeak for low to mod materials and construction for mod to high pricing.

By the way, can I get some government assistance and city kickback on the project?
