This sounds like a broke city who can't even maintain their own buildings. Think of the law suits coming down from employees for health reasons and poor work conditions.
Oh my and then personal lawsuits on city council and the city manager for not fixing the very dangerous mold that breeds in the walls of city hall.
Well Vejay this will not pass you will go down with the council on this one.
Well all you present and recently fired employees here is your chance to get back at your employer for allowing you to work in a dangerous work place. If you have breathing problems or any symptoms related to breathing mold spores you should report it immediately.

Well I am sure the employees at the sheriff department are not treated as badly as Baldwin Park police and city employees. If I know Sheriff Baca he will make that working conditions meet or exceed county regulations.
That is what brings us to the next problem the city is broke, the transit center is over budget, the redevelopment is gone, the city owes close to 40 million in PERS , it needs money to hire the sheriffs, and with all the lawsuits pending that should take the city right into Bankruptcy.
Well city manager great job another failure on your resume.

That explains why none of the council people use their offices they don't want to contact the mold spores. Thats why secret meetings at restaurants, Starbucks , and hotels.
Wow now we know why Monica doesn't want to work in her office instead charges city for DSL at home.
This is going to get nasty with lawsuits and all the medical bills I am thinking Kiaser might fire Marlen for this one Mts. Healthy. Why do you ask because the health plan the city has is with Kiaser and it could cost the insurance company a lot money for life.

The employer has a legal duty and obligation to both employees and customers to provide a safe work environment and safe shopping environment, and that includes no mold at work. Knowingly tolerating and not correctly quickly and effectively elevated levels of indoor mold at work in the workplace is a clear violation of the employer's legal duty to provide a safe workplace.

Valley municipal leaders say they have an expensive and hazardous mess on their hands. Mold and lots of it has been discovered in both City Hall as well as the police and EMS buildings.

The clean up could cost up to $1 million and force city services, police and EMS to relocate to other buildings for 8 months.

"If you find it you have to do something about it. If you ignore it you are negligent and exposing people to something they should not have to be exposed to," Leak told News Leader 9.

Do you hear that Vejay

OVERLAND • The husband of a woman who worked for about eight years at Overland City Hall sued the municipality this week, alleging both that officials failed to warn employees about a mold problem and that the mold led to the death of his wife.

Doris Hentz, an accounts receivable clerk who lived in Overland, died April 17, the day after her 43rd birthday, of hypersensitivity pneumonitis, the suit says. It is a lung inflammation from inhaling a substance such as mold.

SANTA CLARITA - The City Council on Thursday agreed to spend $375,000 to rid City Hall of yeast, mold, fungus and bacteria growths that have sickened a handful of city employees.
The city staff is working with Santa Clarita's insurance carriers to determine whether the city will be reimbursed for at least some of the cost of the cleanup.

Most insurance policies do not cover damage caused by mold.

“Ann Arbor Police Chief says he was ashamed of conditions of police endured inside of city hall.” The misleading implication, of course, was that the conditions had been ameliorated when, in fact, the basement locker rooms were still unusable.

In the piece Police Chief Barnett Jones tells reporter Ryan Stanton,“As a chief, my people come first.”

The stairs to the basement of Ann Arbor's city hall, where police department employees were subjected to conditions Police Chief Barnett Jones said were unacceptable.

Ryan J. Stanton | AnnArbor.com
Police Chief Barnett Jones said this week he's embarrassed and ashamed of the conditions that Ann Arbor police officers had to work in for many years.

In addition to concerns about high radon levels, Jones said other circumstances police officers endured in their former basement and first floor offices in city hall were unacceptable.
"It was just bad."

The police officers union also has cited concerns with mold and asbestos, which were present, and believes the mix of those elements may have contributed to health problems experienced by several officers, including two who died of cancer in the last two years.

I didn't want to take a chance," Jones said. "As a chief, my people come first.

Do you hear that Hadsell A real police chief cares about her employee's

But Baldwin Park doesn't have a real police chief
Ah Yes

The problem is Car Parker the police chief is only a puppet for the city manager she could care less about any of her officers.
Hadsell is the worst chief this city has ever had. I can't believe educated people don't know their rights in working in a safe work place.
Vejay your done little buddy I hope you have your resume ready to go.

If the city manager thinks he is covering up the mold he is sadly mistaken. I will send in our people to check the building where ever my people will be working.
This will only add to the cost of change over and I must say this city is not starting off on my good side.
We will be looking at the crimes reported and the new number we have accumulated on actual crimes will make a big difference on the price we quoted before.

Hey Manny Carrillo you better get your building in shape to because we hear you have major water leaks and electrical problems also. I am betting once the employees find out about their rights to have a save working condition they will be very helpful.

The mold had to have been there a long time. Now, when the city needs to change directions on public safety, it gets reported? Perfect timing.

Well when you fear for your job or retaliation from crazy woman Marlen Garcia what do you expect. These workers have nothing to lose now so why not expose the city leaders for what they are.
I don't think this had anything to do with public safety it's called worker safety dummy.
The facts are there and we all know it needed to be addressed so what better time when the old building needs to be updated for the sheriffs dept. I know Vejay would never tell the sheriffs what lurks in those walls of city hall.

Here come the mold inspectors and they are headed up stairs and especially into the police locker room. I am betting the city is in for some very expensive clean up along with some health issue lawsuits to follow.
Vejay aka goat humper you better clean it fast and good because now that its exposed to the public there is no more little secrets about the mold issue.

It stinks in the Baldwin Park police locker room because that's where they scrape and grind the tow shiiiit of of their badges daily.

Well the sheriffs department better look twice at coming over to Baldwin Park to run the police work in a mold infested building that still leaks water because the city manager has not done his job properly of keeping city buildings up.
The city staff is afraid to complain but I suggest a few county inspectors come in and close it down until it is repaired properly. This is a real health danger.
