The SGVCOG members seem to want to make this all about Nick Conway, it is not.

It is about the wide spread abuses and total arrogance displayed by the sgvCOG delegates when it comes to complying with the law.

The way Nick Conway operated is only one of MANY problems at the sgvCOG - all funded with our tax dollars, local, county state and federal.

The last October 18, 2012 sgvCOG meeting gave some insight as to how the Board Members feel about the public and their right to observe and participate in COG activities.

There was a "training" class held on the Brown Act and Public Records Act (of course, the training was not voluntary but instead a requirement imposed upon the Board in their recent settlement of a lawsuit).

California Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez has refused to move biil to protect "The Brown Act" to a Vote.

The Assembly committee holding SCA 7 is dominated by Democrats, and they are answerable to Speaker Pérez

The Brown Act, which requires California cities, counties, school boards and special districts to conduct their meetings openly and with adequate advance notice, has had some of its key protections suspended indefinitely by the state legislature because there is no money to reimburse these local agencies for their claimed costs of composing and posting a meaningful agenda and disclosing actions taken in closed sessions.

The only way to change that requirement is to amend the constitution. The only way to amend the constitution is to place a proposition to do so on the statewide ballot so the voters can approve it. A legislative bill to do just that

The Assembly committee holding SCA 7 is dominated by Democrats, and they are answerable to Speaker Pérez.

A directive from him could see SCA 7 voted out of committee and on to the Senate Floor, where Republicans would support it as readily as they have up to now.

Few questions were asked, but all seemed to center around how they could avoid having to release sensitive records, such as their text messages and emails.

It was particularly comical to hear the representative from South Pasadena, Cacciotti inquire if used "his" phone vs. a city provided phone to conduct the people's business would those records then be shielded from disclosure he thought it might be good for him to turn in his city provided phone and simply have the city pay him a phone stipend $1500.00 was the number he mentioned!

These guys, and gals, simply don't get it.

Whats to get their a bunch of crooks!

I haven't heard the "31 cities of the San Gabriel Valley" hit so hard.

The interim director is not persuasive.

I'd like him to explain how four felony counts have directly benefited Glendora, California, how does Nick Conway's legal bills benefited Glendora, California in any shape or form?

What say you, Gene Murabito or Joseph Santoro of the Glendora city council and reps to sgvCOG?

Here's more.

Why were hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal and state taxpayer dollars flushed down a rathole called sgvCOG when the guy running the place was stealing it at will?

Why did a room full of elected officials sit around like lobotomy patients while this guy robbed the government in plain daylight?

Why did the Feds and state morons not even look into the place they were sending all of that tax money to?

Why are we still in this garbage hole called sgvCOG?

sgvCOG is just an example.

Government in Southern California makes Chicago look like nursery school.

sgvCOG has to sober up and understand it's doomed if they keep ACE under bondage any longer.

Political pressure is building, you COG member's allowed Nick Conway to get away with millions and murder.

Take your punishment like adults.

It's a crying shame the sgvCOG can't get any slack, first a proven case of RICO crimes against Nick Conway and all the other members of sgvCOG.

Now they haven't even got out of the fire with the last one and they are about to start another:

There were a number of stories we ran a while back about Bart Doyle's El Monte misadventures. Here are some titles and links for you to check out.

9/29/11: FBI Investigating El Monte Transit Village Project - Is a Former Sierra Madre Mayor Involved?

10/1/11: Bart Doyle Responds, Plus Other Follow Ups to this Week's Tattler Reports.

10/30/11: Former Sierra Madre Mayor Bart Doyle and Others Named In Lawsuit Filed by the City of El Monte.

Glendora, California has Gene Murabito, Douglas Tesitor, Ken Herman and Gary Clifford for their part in this crimial activity of Nick Conway's.

At December 13, 2012 Thursday's METRO meeting Najarian also accused Messina and Fasana of violating the California public meetings act by allegedly trying to convince other cities to vote against him at the December 6, 2012 meeting.

Of course both of these folks have said No Brown Act Violation took place?

Then why did these two not jump on the criminal activity Nick Conway was up to in the SGVCOG, of which both Messina and Fasana are both members of?

A lot of these sgvCOG officials are convinced that we (the public) are complete idiots and will believe anything they tell us.

Which is, of course, how they got elected in the first place.

Take Gene Murabito and Douglas Tessitor, first hand witnesses have seen the pair of them lie and yet Glendora, California is still stuck with them.
