First of all, A big Thank You to the Parents who turned in their son! I also did the same, And my son walked in with his head held high and is still paying for the damages, plus community service (Yes!)On the other hand cutting off his finger NO! but I think if the parents do not want to take responsibility for their children writing on walls then maybe we should be able to write on their houses in big letters that are irresponsible or something, ya know if they like trashing other peoples homes, then let someone trash their own. And or course these kids should be out every weekend painting over any tagging that can be found except on their parents homes which should have to stay there until the child's probation is over. which by the way my son got three years.

Yes but that is generally not true of habitual taggers.

As you seem to say for your son, it was a one time thing.

For those who do it on a regular basis, they do it for attention they know they can not get elsewhere. Of course they will be exceptions to any generality...

It is really sad to see the tagging all the time now. My family has lived in Azusa since 1968. We have never had a tagging problem in our neighborhood until a couple of years ago.

It has to stop, it's ridiculous!
