Dozens of times, worried Glendora residents have questioned city officials as to the financial health of the city and each time they have been given a response such as, we have a balanced budget and $11 million in the General Fund.

Finally admitted to what now amounts to a $1.7 million deficit. The city assures the same worried citizens that it will fix the problem in a fair, open, transparent fashion. The council decided to turn the problem over to staff and let them fix it behind closed doors with no public input!

Glendora City Council members, why are you leaving this up to staff to fix? Are they not the ones who got the city into this mess in the first place? Along with your poor, poor leadership.

Now our so-called leaders want to raise our Water rates, when you factor in the utility user tax! And double our water bills within a few short years. All this during a recession.

I sure feel better now that our "leaders" are on it behind closed, locked doors!

Come on, you elected officials. Stop being the staff's rubber stamp of approval! Start acting like leaders and hold staff accountable! If you fail to do this, then the citizens of Colton will hold you accountable at your upcoming bid for re election - 2010 is right around the corner.

Lets start with some facts instead of noise from the defeated Glendora City Council and Lawyers for Glendora, California USA.

Nothing like the truth the whole truth and nothing more, read on!

Disposition of Superior Court of The State of California for the County of Monterey Case Number M82091

In view of the findings that Glendora has not demonstrated substantial evidence of blight for admendments, creation, and merger of Project Areas, the court need not address the issues regarding the County's contention that Glendora was required to issue a timely and new Preliminary Report.

Deposition:

Petitioner's reverse validation action is granted because Glendora's findings of blight are not supported by substantial evidence in the record as set forth above.

The Court directs the attorney for the County to prepare an appropriate judgement consistent with the ruling, present it to all council for approval as to form, and return it to this court for signature.

HON. Robert A. O'Farrell

This was the final word after the City of Glendora LOST! and lost the money spent on lawyers and City Staff time that was wasted.

Rubber stamps
Dozens of times, worried Colton citizens have questioned city officials as to the financial health of the city and each time they have been given a response such as "we have a balanced budget and $30 million in the bank."

But on Jan. 31, the city finally admitted to what now amounts to a $6.5 million deficit. The city assures the same worried citizens that it will fix the problem in a fair, open, transparent fashion. A few days later, at the Feb. 3 City Council meeting, the council decided to turn the problem over to staff and let them fix it behind closed doors with no public input!

Colton City Council members, why are you leaving this up to staff to "fix"? Are they not the ones who got the city into this mess in the first place? Along with your poor, poor leadership.

Now our so-called leaders want to raise our electric rates by more than 20 percent, when you factor in the utility user tax!

Mark Smith lies for his Puppet Masters John Harrold and Kristin Parisi. Nothing he says or states and I mean NOTHING should be believed.

He is a delusional, drunk, dirty old man that lives in his own world of lies. It is sad... I think he should be put into a home.

Poor Mark Smith. It must be difficult to type and wipe the drool coming off your face. I would lay off the booze, it is not going to take away the hurt of Parisi and Harrold getting their A$$ handed to them in the election.

Is it hard to figure out what to do with your day now that John does not let you climb onto his lap? You are so pathetic that it hurts my eyes to see your silly post.

Not hard to believe there's something wrong with Smith. Last three times I've seen him, same pants, same shirt and same stench. What's that a sign of people? I think they have a room with his name on it in at Casa Carmen.

The only thing he can do is copy and paste and change names but sometimes he forgets to change all the names like he did with Colton. How does he repond, more cutting and pasting.

Smith has no original thoughts which is what he and his pals are all about. They got the white trash and doper vote in Glendora and that's about it.

Their 15 minutes have been up for a long time.

On average Californian's will pay $1,100.00 extra because of people like Anthony Adams and his hold out vote concerning (the overdue) State Budget so he could give $2.6 million dollars to POOR OLD Glendora, California USA

Because this current City Council* could not make ends meet or they tried something illegal with the Los Angeles County by keeping ill gotten tax dollars that have been proven to be illegal in Monterey Superior Court in 2008 when the case was finally heard and decided on by a JUDGE!

SORRY GLENDORA you have been caught and proven to be thieves who stole money from the PEOPLE!

This is your quote Mr. Smith. The court said get it right and return it! Nothing against the city of Glendora, no application was lost no suit was lost. Just clean it up and present anew. You are such an idiot you can't even admit the city was trying to help you!

Glendora, California balances it's budget by laying off employees and reducing services it once provided, when you have liars in it's city hall and city council member's who couldn't tell the truth if it was tatooed to their eye lids.
How the residents keep swallowing the lies is just out of sight.
It will be getting worse since Glendora, California is involved in a couple lawsuits (again) and more are coming.

Local city managers can and will use phoney awards and promo's to boost their standing in the cities eyes of achievements?

How it works: those scheming city managers contact one another and then build up the plan, then one is assigned to contact a create a phoney award system for the city to be entered in to.

Or use their contacts with in a more established awards system, use any method they can to get heir name entered and moved to the top of the list.

I wonder how much it cost the city of Glendora to obtain these awards?
