I bought the 250cc street bike. Looks like a ninja... Wouldn't start, brand new, had to pay $300 to get it started... Oh yeah, never got my title or bill of sale from Sunny Sports. I bought the bike back in Nov 2012, it's now January 2013 and I can't even register the bike because I STILL haven't gotten the title and bill of sale... Sunny Sports can't explain why the paperwork wasn't sent and will not refund my money for parts under their "6 month parts warranty" DO NOT BUY FROM SCOOTERDEPOT.US aka Sunny Sports Inc

Bought a 125 Dirt Bike for my grandson for Christmas. Big mistake. The starter lever broke on the first day. Rec'd the part and fixed it. Then the starter mechanism broke inside the casing. This will require an engine breakdown to find the failed parts. Now the clutch has blown out.

This is a bike that has been ridden less than 20 miles.

Scooter Depot sells junk dirt bikes. This was a complete waste of money. Been on hold with Customer service for 20 minutes now.......while I am typing this complaint.

These guys should not be in business. They sell junk.

I called some different dealers today about a Sunny MC D50TKA. The sales lady would not answer any questions about the warranty. She said I would have to call the parts department about those things. Things like what does the warranty cover that you are required to buy and why does it cost more per month to buy the 12 month than the 6 month warranty. I then used the on line chat and that person said that she couldn't answer that and I should call parts department, because the handled all warranty questions. She even gave me his number. That man said that I would have to ask sales about those kind of things but if I had any parts questions, he would answer them. I asked him what is covered by the purchased warranty? He said the carburetor or stator or ignition box. All other parts were pretty much your's as soon as you got them. After listening to all of you, I will not be buying one of them, even though it sure looks good on line. Thanks

Come on people. You get what you pay for. A few issues that a minor self mechanic can figure out. My husbands kept stalling so he adjusted the idol and loosened some clamps on hoses. Got a new side mirror and all is good. You have to take care of it. He lovesssss it and takes up to 60 mph.

I've been riding motorcycles for 20+ years, since a young kid. Heck, I still am young. I needed something to ride to the grad school program I'm attending. Obviously, I wanted something inexpensive and not the $20k BMW motorcycle I usually ride. But, was I in for a shock. I've never owned anything as lousy as the scooter I received from Scooter Depot. While the prices are certainly appealing, and the pictures and rich details on the website seem enticing, the actual product is anything but. In my case, the scooter I purchased (a 150cc Honda Replica) arrived on a truck. I had no issues with delivery. But, the moment I started the scooter, it sounded as if there were rocks in the engine. It vibrated more than a Harley Davidson 1,200cc motorcycle (quite literally). Immediately, upon riding it for the first time, the headlight blew out. I thought to myself, no big deal. I'll just go to the local auto parts store and buy a new one. WRONG. The bulb is unique, to the point that I've been unable to find one anywhere. I've been unable to find anything even remotely compatible . Scooter Depot promised to ship me a replacement. They never did. The next thing to stop working was the rear brake light. Then the engine. Having worked on motorcycles all my life, I decided I'd take it apart and work on it myself. Surprise- there's no way to adjust the carburetor. It is set in one position, by design. I finally got the bike running, after about 12-hours worth of work and by making major modifications, that would require years of mechanical (motorcycle and engine knowledge) experience to obtain. The next thing to break was the luggage rack, which I had never used. The welds simply broke, likely due to vibration. The gas door was the next thing to break. Lastly, the front rotor warped to the point that the scooter's front wheel made a howling sound that could be heard from hundreds of feet away. The steering bearings went next. In fact, there is not a single area of the scooter that I have not has not suffered a major failure. I finally decided to sell the piece of junk. I put an ad on craigslist and obtained $400.00 for a "top of the line" scooter that I purchased for $2,000.00. It had around 450 miles on it, when I finally threw in the towel. I've been to China, and I'm sure some who will read this review have also been there. Scooters are very prevalent, to say the least. But, even in China their scooters are of far higher quality than whatever "factory rejects" Scooter Depot are importing into the U.S. and passing off as quality items. I've ridden and owned motorcycles that are 30-years old from the early 1980s that start every time you push the start button and cost far less. Scooter Depot was of no help whatsoever in terms of after sales service. They continually told me parts would be sent to me. But, I never received a single item. These machines are truly dangerous to ride on the streets. There is no way to know if your scooter or "motorcycle" will accelerate from an intersection or decide to die in the middle of the road, leaving you vulnerable to traffic. Riding a motorcycle or scooter is an inherently dangerous activity. One need not be traveling at freeways speeds to be killed or injured for life. I'm stunned that no one has filed suit against Scooter Depot. DO NOT FALL FOR THE CHEAP PRICES.Enticing as their prices may be, you'll spend hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, attempting to repair your brand new scooter. Scooter Depot will not assist you after the sale. They do NOT have access, apparently, to the most common parts. I don't think you'll find a single positive review anywhere on the internet about their products. Do yourself a favor and take your $2,000 and buy a Yamaha Vino or a Honda Metro .Get a used one for $1,200.00. If you think you'll find quality in a Scooter Depot product, you're dead wrong and "dead" is the state you may end up, if you take the risk of using their junk amongst moving traffic. STAY CLEAR!No Joke!

Okay after reading posts I feel my take on my online chat was right on. I asked alot of questions, the sales man took forever to answer them and some he skipped around or even over after several times of asking the same question. I asked if I come down will you have these models i want, he said he would have to order them. I said can we test drive, he said no we don't do that. Okay. So I said what are all the models you keep in stock like your adds say. all more expensive. I just got a really bad vibe so I found this forum. Thank you for saving me the trip and money. .
