Ms. Schlanser, do not even try to attach the flash in the pain, sheepish Tea Party to the NAACP. Past efforts of the NAACP have fought for the rights of all Americans, even when those Americans were too ignorant or scarred to allow someone or themselves to do the right thing for themselves.

Calling people names, yelling, and bashing people and policies with no clear agenda or path past your stick board has nothing to do with the progressive nature of the NAACP. The NAACP, SNCC, the SCLC, white and black sharecroppers, members of the clothe, students, poor, middle class, and wealthy protested in the 60s and beyond because the injustices of our government reps and injustices by ignorant citizens could no longer be allowed - they were fight for civil rights! Who knows what the Tea Partiers want, I don't think you know except what your GOP handlers tell you. Ignorance isn't a gift or a talent.

How is it that your members have so much time to gather in DC? Are you jobless, are you receiving government aide, where you or your relatives laid off? What I know is that your members are no different from me, a Black American just trying to pay the bills and get by. Let's stop with the crazy chants, racial slurs, and ignorance. Your members aren't getting the real bad press, but just check out you tube and the Tea Party web site...

Put down the tea bags. Does your party even know who Crispus Attucks was? Did you know that black market tea was more expensive then the British taxed tea. Read a book, put down the stick board, take a deep breath.

Thank you

Cassa Bernadini hits it on the head. The Church is one of Sinners as well as Saints and is not perfect. If it were it would not contain human people. Thanks Casa for your opinion and I sincerely hope that Frank can return to the fold and enjoy the Blessings and Contentment that the Church Provides.

Re Frank Girardot's column "One Catholic's confession".
Hey Frank, go to the church of your choice, or not.
I don't need to read about it.

Mary Dee is 100% correct. Read measure CC yourself and see why a NO vote is so very important.
