As the SGVCOG past president, I requested our City (Walnut) suspend it's membership.
It did. The Executive Director promoted grants where he had a fiduciary interest.
Meetings WERE held in violation of the Ralph M. Brown Act. The then president refused to answer my concerns about conflicts and allegations the Executive Director misapropriated funds on a County Housing Council and diverted them to his own company.
The president at that time was busy soliciting business for a consulting firm already employed by nine member cities.
This organization has a lack of leadership and has taken years to address issues that would be handled in five minutes in private industry.
The affiliation with the Executive Director represents a very real financial liability for member cities.
Half a million dollars of taxpayer money has been spent trying to help this private contractor.
He is still being paid up to 60k a month while under felony charges.
The failure to address these issues is hurting the San Gabriel Valley and has already been demonstrated by the SGVCOG support for continuing Measure R without obtaining final funding for the Gold Line.

The meeting date: October 11, 2012 Thursday at 9:30 A.M. not the false report that is noted below..
Another false informational report given out by the glendorapatch.com
As it's been noted before, the patchis a PR firm for the evil doers in Glendora's city hall..
The successor agency of the former redevelopment agency will meet Thursday, Oct. 12 at 9:30 a.m. in the council chambers to discuss the report on the transfer of funds.

This so called professional, is worse off than Nick Conway.
The Interim Executive Director of the SGVCOG just made the statement that the California Conflict of Interest law was complicated and that it is "not difficult for someone to step out of bounds."
Only guilty people make stupid statements like the one above!

For starters the glendorapatch.com is nothing more than a tool for the Glendora city council and city manager of Glendora, California.
They don't check the facts before they are issued a order to print an article.

A local front runner gets dissed by the SGVCOG; you mean the Brown Act Violation bunch of Banana's group?
Too bad; this group drools for self importance, which is this dissed candidates middle name.
No wonder the south land is in trouble with this group of unimportant people charging the way into bankruptcy.

GlendoraPatch will only have something to say about sgvCOG when the likes of Chris Jeffer, Gene urabito or Douglas Tessitor tell them to print omething.

GlendoraPatch. com will not print a single truthful word about NIck Conway and all his crimial activites that included Douglas Tessitor, Gene Murabito, Karen Davis and Chris Jeffers-city manager.
California, Pasadena Star News has an article up about Nick "COG" Conway's trial. 01/29/2013..
Preliminary hearing was today, 5 hours, 4 witnesses were called.
One was councilmen Tom King of Walnut, Ca.
No news on whether Nancy Walsh was called to testify about the yumminess of the banquets that were held during illegal meetings.

Double dipping from ones actions 9nick conway) on behalf of ignorance by board members just shows the public how truly ignorant these politicans really are.
For those board member's who didn't see the light and try to do the moral and ethical "right thing" shame on you and your family and city you represent.
As for Nick Conway, your still not out of the woods along with your family members who enriched themselves at the expense of the public's inability to catch you sooner, but we got you now!

Is either to afraid or hasn't been given the "gree light" to print a single word about Nick Conway of SGVCOG who was arrested in 2012 and now will report back to court February 28, 2013 to start his trial for which he was arrested on in the first place.
Nick Conway has many associates who worked with him in during his 17 years of criminal activites, they to may be going away with him.
Nick used all he power and connections along with his lawyers to get the charges dropped and made to go away, plea bargining was also tried.
When and if the article that will be printed up by City Hall and then dispatched to GlendoraPatch.com to print.
