The pawn shop seems to be doing well. Maybe they could use some competition. The dopers could run back and forth between the two. Drugs seem to be taking over so definitely a pawn shop. Who in their right mind would want to open another restaurant in circleville. These franchise stores have the lowest numbers in central ohio. They are on the verge of closing up shop and going elsewhere. Open a drug rehab facility. Now that would be a money maker there. You wouldn't have to look very far for customers. Build it and they will come. Better build it big though. Probably a better idea to fence off the whole town.

Drug rehab facility ??? You're joking right? Who would fund it? Who would make money off it? The Druggies wouldn't go cause they think nothings wrong! And druggies with a problem don't have the money to get into this Dream Facility that cost the Average junkie 2-4000 Gs for the proper help to get clean ! And if it's funded through the state, city, or Federal Authorities,,,,, it comes from people like me when it's taken out of my paycheck!!! I don't mind to help but 90% of all rehabers,,,,, Relapse !!! Bad idea,,,, NO MONEY TO BE MADE OFF ADDICTS UNLESS YOU'RE A DEALER ! REAL TALK ! Best way I believe for Crackheads/Heroin to get right is this formula..... Get a job= Smoke JOINT/BOWL= Eat something= Go to bed & sleep. Then wake up and do it again = Happiness :-)

All of them, state insurance. Hardworking people like me and probably you support their insurance while we are stuck paying 50% or more of our hospital and doctor bills.

You're right most of them have a medical card, which my tax dollars pay for.
Any Thoughts

The drug rehab facility is a GOOD idea and it is much needed, but neither of our degrees are in that field. We were thinking on a smaller scale like a mom and pop shop. Something with low start up cost and low overhead...

We really need a gay bar in this town. Our young gay people have nothing to do but bugger each other out in the fields. They really need a place to call their own. Who's with me?

Okay, roundtowner, I'm glad you agree. So, where and when and what should we call it? Maybe we could have a Topix contest to name the new Circleville gay bar. Plus, it could also be a resource center. Think of the possibilities.

Of course, I'm not expecting a Best Buy to come to Circleville with a franchise/corporate store... Just saying that type of store is needed/wanted in town.
All the ideas above BUT what we need most is a Meijer super store to give Walmart some competition! Our Walmart is NOT cheap by any means it's because that store has no competition.

I GOTO THE WALMART AT BETHAL & SAWMILL in NW Columbus when I'm up there it's a smaller store kinda like our old Walmart but they have a great selection and their prices are lower than our CIRCLEVILLE Walmart and the NW store is in a high dollar neighborhood.

Example: Rural King to TSC, I can see TSC closing in a year mayb two years. They get no business due to the nice store Rural King next door!!!!!

Please bring Meijer to CIRCLEVILLE !!!!
