Give the boy a chance. It sounds like he has learned a lesson and is truly sorry. By all means seek civil charges. He should pay the families lots of restitution. It wont bring back their loved ones I do understand that. He made a horrible mistake that will follow him the rest of his life. Just my thoughts. Prayers to the families

If any of you would actually know anything about the situation, he does not have direct cell mates. It is a grouped situation where he lives with about 100 people. And also, he is doing very good and is in good programs there and has made some good aquantances. So this has NOTHING at all to do with who he is in a cell with. He has learned from his time being in there and is a very good kid. I know that two beautiful people were lost in this accident, but life happens and God has a time assigned for everyone to go. But also, whether you like it or not, if you would feel the need for him to stay in there longer then you need to get in the damn court system because no where does it say that trash talking him on topix will get you anywhere.

Wow. Such immature children on this lovely site. You say Circleville is a joke, by what standards are circleville's laws any different than that of other states. The joke is that people truly believe they can sit here and use fake names and trash talk people and not have to be adults about the situation. Seth is not a bad kid, he made a mistake and didn't think about his actions. He will now live with this forever. Who are any of you to say that he should rot in prison. Nobody is able to bring these two ladies back, Seth is remorseful and hurts every day due to his actions. The point is he cannot bring these two women back, and sitting in prison will not either, so why torture another family by making him live his life in a prison cell. Seth has a very good head on his shoulders and will make something of himself and I am sure he will take this tragedy and be able to educate others regarding how their actions affect the lives of others. Please if you feel the need to make a difference and feel you need to change the way society and the court systems are then by all means go to school. Until then keep it to yourself, because I'm sure you all are such outstanding law abiding citizens yourselves that have never made a single mistake in your lives.

8 months for being directly responsible for the death of an innocent woman??? Or was it 2 ppl who died?? Would you say he should get out if your child had been the one who died that night?? Doubted it. Anyone who knowingly and willfully causes the death of another person, self-defense aside, should be held responsible for their actions. Ppl say it was a 'prank gone wrong'... a prank is putting cool aid in the shower head, not covering a stop sign hoping someone will run it & have an accident. Others are saying 'he's a good kid'... A GOOD KID?!? Really?!? He's an immature punk who has no regard for the safety of others. Sadistic, disgusting and irresponsible is an understatement. Both boys involved should receive at least 10 years, for punishment, justice & if nothing else, to give them time to grow up, which they obviously need to do. Yes, they made a mistake, we all do...but we live in a world of consequences and we all have to be responsible for our actions.

They knew that...the only reason to cover a stop sign is to see if anyone runs it. They WANTED to cause an accident & that's reprehensible. Who raised these heathens????? That's who needs locked up!

Would you be so sympathetic to him if your child was killed that night?

Make no mistake this is a sad situation and i feel for both families....however, you could still clearly see the stop sign it was wrapped in clear plastic, this ladie drove this road before and I'm sure knew there was a stop sign. The other kid involved didn't get squat! The dispatcher was called more than once, had she did her job the sign would of been cleared before this person drove down the road....and she only lost her job. I'm sure this kid didn't intend on killing someone. I think he should be released. How far did this investigation go, did they do a autopsy to see if just maybe there was a health related issue that actually caused the wreck and coincidentally the sign was wrapped?

I do understand your a bunch oh narrowminded individuals but wrap your mind around the thought of forgiveness ... if that is to hard for you all to comprehend then heaven help you all.. he had no criminal intent or did not set out to take the lives of 2 innocent women that night.. it was a thoughtless stupid juvenile act.. but life in prison is not justifiable.. he will live with this every day of his life. Give him a fighting chance to begin his life since he is a child .. even though he is 19 that doesn't give him the right yto be considered a man.. that is something you grow into and hold as a privilege. that's a lot less than what I could say for the cowards who don't put their full names.

He needs to stay in jail, and serve his entire sentence, people died because of him. He needs punished, and 7 or 8 months is not a proper punishment. He also needs the shit beat out of him, MURDERER.

Well if he is so remorseful ,why hasn't the family done some type of fund raiser to build a tomb marker at site in remeberance of ladies. They have done nothing but worry about how get there son/brother out prison. If this kid is really sorry he would ask to have 1 finger 1 toe from each hand and foot removed . That's out respect of 2 people he killed.
