Evidently all of you judgemental **** have never had a dumb-**** attack in your-life? Never made a really bad decision? Get off your high horses& soap-boxes. This man is human he made a enormous error in judgement and thank God or whoever he did not harm anyone or himself. This is also a man who has given-dedicated the better part of is life to serving you the public. Everyone wants to hang-em' high ,dare to use the Nazi term!
Why? Because you got caught drinking&driving,
speeding, breaking the law? Officers of the Law,our Troops,Dr.'s etc. are always judged more harshly than others,Why? Because we think they should know better or be better than the average person? The only difference is their job. A job that is many times thankless, dangerous, stressful and ridiculed.
I agree Mr. Mills should be judged,BUT BY A JUDGE.
if this were your flesh and blood,or someone you cared about would you want them to lose their job, pension, insurance? What about the 26yrs. of serving and protecting? For God sake, give the man a chance, counseling!
For all of you using terms like PIG,Nazi, pack your bags and get the hell out of this country!
For the rest of you try taking a good look a yourself, your past. I find it hard to believe there are so many picture-perfect law abiding(24-7)year around people in this world.
Did you just step off the short bus?

All cops are taught at the academy that once you take the job you are living life in the fish bowl. Anything you do, on or off duty, can be used against you later. Any derogatory information in the officers past can be used by the accused to show that the officer's creditiblity is questionable.

I for one have no problem with him loosing his job or holding him to a hirer standard. Why? Because of his job? Yes. I am held to a hire standard because of my profession, so should hothers. We hire people to be officers, troopers, detectives etc. because they have proven then are honest, trustworthy, and have consistantly made good descicions. Clearly, his trust-worthiness, and judgement has been called into question. Whats next, he gets drunk and fires a few rounds off?

He was given a second chance after getting caught driving at 100 MPH. He didn't learn his lesson then, do we think he is going to learn his lesson now?

I bet anyone he arrested for DUI and has charges pending against them for a DUI just won their criminal case. Probably, all charges dismissed. Why, because of this guys actions.

Furthermore, he helped to continue to make people dislike the OSP. Because of his actions peple think even less of OSP Troopers. He is tarnishing a repreputation the OSP has to fight hard to keep.

All right I read the article, and I believe it said CHARGED. At this point he has not been found guilty,(EXCEPT BY THE GREAT EXPERTS ON HERE) everyone that has responded would have the right to their day in court. So why is this person ant different from any of us.
Because he is a Trooper, he knows better!!!

This is a tough one. He is a human, prone to making mistakes just like all of us. Yet he chose a profession whose job it is to arrest those people he emulated that fateful night. He most certainly should be held at a different standard than the rest of us and will certainly be punished. Probably fired. He obviously was a good trooper for 26 years and those years should count. He should NOT lose his pension he worked towards for 26 years. Those of you who stated as such as heartless. I suspect deeper issues with this man. I think I would go a little crazy walking up to cars night after night not knowing if the person in the car intends to kill you not knowing that you pulled them over for a broken tail light. I know I would lose myself being the first person to an accident scene and having to see mangled teens and looking into their eyes as they die in your arms. Being spit at, cussed at, threatened and despised for doing your job. And just trying to be perfect at your job because you are under the scope. That is what these people do - every night. Doing that job for 26 years and dealing with this kind of stress would certainly drive me insane. I guess we all need to put ourselves in other people shoes.

America's police are incompetent.

The police, America's most dangerous "street gang".

America's worst criminals wear a badge or black robe...

When I hear that a cop has died, I leave my garbage can lids at half staff...

No, it's obviously, I know much more about the so called, justice system than you do. Educate yourself before making an ass of it! Now go back to kissing your kid sister...

Would you say the same incompetent remark if Barry Scheck had posted that? Quick education, B Scheck , Innocence Project Study, Learn, U Jagoff..

Probably the same guy I saw carrying a box of wine the day before from the grocery store with a large smile on his face. Ready set action. Let the show begin.

So maybe I should have called him hefty or big boned!
“No too-heavy Ohio troopers or sergeants have been fired in recent years, but at least 11 have received verbal or written reprimands since January for weighing too much, Department of Public Safety says”
you are probably twice the size of the officer that pulled you over!

So? Police have weight guidelines to follow, fat slobs do not. They just collect their check from people who actually work.

You probably collect your check from my taxes! Maybe you should put a uniform on and go risk your life for everyone else, then see how much you have to say!
