Jugging is when you string a hook to a milk jug and bait it a leave it. It is used a lot to catch turtles.

AW Marion (AKA HARGUS) is a nice lake could stand to be cleaned out of the algae and growth but still a nice lake to fish and relax.

I see that ODNR redid the building where Ernie sold bait and rented boats they were also pouring a concrete slab on Monday 5/20 at the entrance to the parking lot on the launch ramp side.

I would still like to see the lake become a 6 or 10 HP lake, but to keep in mind that it is okay (per ODNR) to start up your gas engine at HARGUS if there is a thunderstorm an lighting storm in order to get across the lake!!!

I have done this myself along with pulling the boat renters back to the dock when the winds pick up.

I do my best fishing around the main island and coves east of the island.
