Robert Griffith... the one with the teardrop tattoo on his eye. That dude thinks he is so hard, the big boys in prison are gonna have a fun time with that tool. McNichols is a wanna be too. He belongs in prison, and it's only a matter of time before he goes back. His reputation and past history make him a target for law enforcement, and rightfully so.

Most people with the teardrop tattoo are sissies, I think that tat is a way for the weak to try to get respect and be seen as a hardass by others. Lame as hell, tattoos don't make you anything more than what you are punks, get a job, take care of your family, and stop running the streets, that'll get you respect from those that matter.

While teardrops under the eyes have no single definition their most commen reference is to being raped while incarcerated. Multiple tear drops may represent number of years spent so if his number doesn't add up with how long he was locked up it may refer to being raped, which does happen. It is in no way used to be seen as tough or as a hardass. Oh and "smashin" Why are you talking about someone trying to be a hardass when you yourself are sitting completely safe from everyone posting your opinions under a screen name? Granted anonymous isn't my real name, but I'm not on here slandering others.

I am a LPN I have a wonderful job. Yet, I have a few tattoos. So what does that consider as? I have always been hard working, raised my children, just like ink? Don't judge people on their tattoos, I know so worthless waste of space who has no tattoos, but are better off shot in the head.

I have tattoos, it wasn't a slam on ink, just the teardrop that people get on their cheek is what I'm talking about. The teardrop is common in wannabe thugs, they think it makes them something they're not, or someone to be feared.

Teardrops can refer to loss of loved one or number of years incarcerated, that is the most common ones I have heard of. Or number of people killed for the real gangsters.
