religous battles/arguements=who has the cooler imaginary friend...A belief which leaves no place for doubt is not a belief; it is a superstition.
José Bergamín....

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day; teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime; give a man religion and he will die praying for a fish.
Quote from Unknown

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.
Edward Gibbon

The invisible and the non-existent look very much alike.
Delos B. McKown Quote

You’re basically killing each other to see who’s got the better imaginary friend.
Richard Jeni Quote

God has made us in his image, we have returned him the favor.
Voltaire

It ain’t those parts of the Bible that I can’t understand that bother me, it is the parts that I do understand.”
Mark Twain

If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed

Religion easily has the best bullshit story of all time. Think about it. Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky. Who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer, and burn, and scream, until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you. He loves you and he needs money.

I'll make sure you're brought up for open prayers at our Bible study. I'll bring you up at church, too.

So sad that you won't let our Savior to touch you.

I'm glad you can google quotes to confirm your belief. He didn't ask about religion. He asked about Jesus....that historical man. That ugly carpenter who lived only about 30 years over 2000 years ago....who just so happens to dominate conversation all over the world today. the most read, most studied, and followed man in the whole of human history. but you're right, total BS. and i'm sure you have a few more people to quote.

Being ignorant is not so much a shame, as being unwilling to learn.
~Benjamin Franklin

It's easy to ignore or brush aside the historical Jesus when you know nothing about him.

Now, now little one. I'll remember to bring you up, too. No matter what you say or how you say it, Jesus loves you. Is there anyone else in your life that loves you that much?

Isaiah 53:7

He was oppressed and treated harshly,
yet he never said a word.
He was led like a lamb to the slaughter.
And as a sheep is silent before the shearers,
he did not open his mouth.

My, my, you've got a lot to learn. If you knew anything about God, you'd know about Satan, too. Satan makes the bad things happen. God's simplest guidance is to love your neihgbor like you love youself. If you don't love youself to begin with, you never love your neighbor. And I don't mean the folks next door. I mean all humans.

love..by defination a physical and mental condition often trigured and pursued for purely individualistic gains of comfort and security the intrinsict nature for the human race to give definition tto that which they dont understand or can control without major will power...look up the word "agape"..often used in the old world bible..by definition it means"unconditional" love yet your god sets bounderias and limits..god..a unseen space enity that created a "dirt" man and ' rib" woman who sent his own son to be toturted for my mistake by proxy and set those in his image in a garden with the t rex and such when a talking snake "conned" us to eat a "forbidden" fruit and when we got caught our first instinct was to cover our privates,,but with so much love he still cast us out and inorder to be "saved we Must eat the fleash of his tortured son and drink his "blood and confess to being week since he made a "zombie" of his son....yeppers makes perfect sense
