When I was a teenager in this town we cruised up and down Court street for fun instead of doing drugs and getting in trouble. What happened to that?

Yea I don't understand why kids are getting into these heavy drugs now. This town has really gone to hell.

Most of them don't have the money to have a car or motorcycle because of the drugs.

The city started making up things to do away with it. said it caused to many problems and took up police on duty. made it illegal to turn around to go thru the alley by the elks and started running people off for being parked uptown and mcdonalds.

If they do have money, they are usually in a parking lot somewhere making a dope buy.

Yes CPD ran everyone offf. This used to be a fun town for kids. There were still drugs here at that time but mostly pot and cocaine, not meth, heroin, and crack.

I use to love seeing all my friends on Friday and Saturday nights in downtown. But the CPD instead of doing their jobs looking for crime they instead picked on the kids.

Same thing happened in Chillicothe at shawanee square.

Those days were awesome! But with gas prices now its kinda hard plus the cops ran everyone off. Can't hang at the court house or the car wash or well anywhere. This town needs to come up with something for the kids to do. Now that circle D is gone its only going to get worse. And I agree there were drugs back then but it was mainly weed. We used to drive around a few times park n walk court st go to the D and just hang out or at the court house n have fun then the bike cops would start messing with us n run everyone off.

Yeah that has even changed from 4 years ago. Sad. No one cruises or cares about cars anymore.

Well gas was 1.00 a gallon now it's 4.00 that's some of it. Plus the cops are hard butts and use to be teens from other towns as well would cruise the strip from the bank to McDonald's. Now with most the building and businesses closed down not too much too do. That's why you see a lot of overage of drugs and pregnancies. Overpopulated with lazy druggies and woman who makes babies that dump them on someone else then lose custody of them. It's not like the old days where most people in this town were not like people now.

Ah man, those WERE the good ol' days! I'd spend Saturday afternoons waxing my car so we could go cruising the strip after dark. We didn't need drugs to have fun. WTH is wrong with kids today?
