He preaches at New Life Assembly of God out on Stoutsville Pike. Great church...you ought to check it out some sunday morning! They'd love to have you!

You could not be more wrong. Tim is a fraud and so are most of the people responsible for that church. Including Robb banks. Wish they would pack it up and move on out because the world would be better without a bunch of frauds and hipocrits. Stay away is your best best. Church can be great but there's a difference between religion and spirituality. From personal experience I can say there's nothing good about any of these people.

Everything about him I know is positive.

I also know he (And Robb) have stepped on the toes of some people in the area (which should be obvious from a few comments above).

Give the church a try and see if it feels right. If it does then try again, if it doesn't, then move on.

As long as you are not feeling pressured to go, or feel in ANY way that you're 'going to hell' if you don't warm a pew on Sundays. God is in all of our hearts, and although he does call on us to share his word...in no way does the Bible state you have to go to church to be saved. I will agree that many of these Protestant 'pop up' churches are largely a business, not sure on this one, but the big ones (Olsteen, Hagee, etc) are in it for the fame & $$. Do what YOU feel is right in your heart, and you'll be doing the right thing. I go to a church that was started in the 1500's so it's hard for me to see these pop up's as anything other than man made, but that's only how I feel-what's right for me may not be right for you. I never made my kids attend church, Faith is a personal thing. Just steer clear of the LDS/Mormons, I'd be doing you a disservice if I didn't give you that advice. Good luck.

@AsAParent....God is only in all of our hearts if we invite him in. He doesn't reside in our hearts unless invited as he gave us free will. Just thought I should share that as this is what the bible states.

Wow I can not believe what I am reading on here! I have known Pastor Tim since the Church at the Fair Grounds, and he has never been a hypacrit or a fraud to me or anyone else I know. Pastor Tim preaches all the time that he is ghuman as he is and that he too has missed the mark as we all have, so if you are looking for a perfect Pastor that has done No Wrong then this is not the church for you, because at New Life we only see perfection in Our Lord we do not honor anyone but Jesus, however we are blessed with a Pastor who hungers for Jesus and is a vessel to us. When a person believes he has found the Perfect Pastor then he idolizes his preacher not our Lord! I am sure Pastor Tim has upset people but have you ever upset anyone?? We are not perfect! NEW LIFE AND PASTOR TIM HUNGER FOR MORE OF JESUS, HUNGER TO HELP THE COMMUNITY SEE HIS LOVE AND HUNGER TO SAVE THE LOST!! As for snakes and tonuges and all that silly stuff I have NEVER SEEN any snakes raising outta hats that is not the way this church is!

“the Lord is good!”

actually the bible DOES tell us to go to "church" (our bodies are the true temple of God).....read hebrews 10:25
and to the originator of this post, once u find the perfect church, join it and it will no longer be perfect.......none of us are.

I just started going to New Life 3 weeks ago. I have never been a "church going" person. Yet, I want to have a better relationship with God and a friend had told me about her church. I'm really reserved about going to church. My parents have went for years and I have went once or twice with them and never really felt comfortable or good enough to be there. It wasnt the church it was how i was living my life. I still am iffy about the church going but let me give a little testimony. I went strictly for myself and everyone was extremely kind. I still have those insecure feelings cuz of how i am living my life but as we were singing the lord came into me and I felt his arms around me. I cried like a baby. I think more so with how i live my life and my own personal demons but the lords love put goose bumps on me. I didnt think id go back due to im not good at keeping with anything, yet, i went back sunday after I almost talked myself out of it. I kept to myself and was there to strictly feel close to Jesus. The pastor whom i didnt know his name came to me and laid hands on me with a wonderful prayer. It made me feel so great. So those weiry of church take it from a guy who never has believed in church. U can go to New Life worship on your own and not have to do the so called politics of "church". I am unable to give them money yet if I could i would. I only would cuz I feel the genuine love of the lord in that church and giving money to help out the church and keep it running is what i want. This could sound like a complete ramble of nonsense to some but if it helps one person on the border of trying to get closer to God than take that chance like i did and either way atleast you tried. If its for you its for you if not then you dont have to go.

Your testimony shows why people need church fellowship. Not to mention it is lid out for us in the bible. So glad for your experience with the Holy Spirit.....what a beautiful thing:)

Ok. For everyone so pro new life and all of the other frauds that run it. I don't say this for no reason at all. I have personal experience to back it up and I don't need to prove it to anyone. It's simply a warning to watch who you trust and/or give your money to. People are not always what they seem to be. These people are no exception. And I'm glad that a couple of you think you really know them and its fine. Try finding the FORMER members and ask them about it. Of course they're going to be kind to the current ones. That's where all their money comes from. So keep on dreaming.
