First of all, if there is so much corruption in this town then I doubt the chief's son would have been arrested at all. You are talking out of both sides of your ignorant mouths. You say corruption, yet his son is sitting in the county. This community has a serious drug problem and no one is exempt. Not your children, my children, your brother, sister or mother. Rather than tearing down a man because his son has a disease, why don't you say a prayer that his child will recover? This is a sad situation that each and every one of us has been through with a loved one or know someone who is suffering from addiction. Just because Gray is the chief of police, do we really need to take joy in his misery? I'm pretty sure his heart is broken and he worries everyday that his child will be "okay". He is a human being just like the rest of us. He loves his children and wants whats best for them as any "normal" parent does. Lets also remember that Josh Gray is loved by his family. He has sisters, a brother, and a child that may one day read your nasty posts. Keep that in mind when you writing such negativity about a person who has a serious, deadly disease. Whether it is heroin, narcotics, or anything else out there..It hurts every single person involved. No parent raises their child hoping they will grow up to be addicted to drugs of any kind. This is not a parent's desire. We can only raise our children to be the best they can be. If they travel the wrong path, we pray they will find the right way. Wayne Gray is no different.

wow. Are you one of Wayne's pawns? Surely there is corruption here? The sheriff was the arresting agency. The cheif has known of his sons addiction for quite some time. I bet you one of the cheifs officers could have arrested him several times. Josh has had a free ride in the cheifs town. Before he as an adult he was getting into trouble. He was always overlooked. I promise you that CPD would not have booked him if they found him with drug instruments, because they never would have checked him to begin with. That IGNORANCE IN A SMALL TOWN are the one talking from both ends. First you call someone ignorant, then do you say to pray? That just shows your own ignorance.

I grew up beside Cheif Wayne Gray and the Gray boys. Obviously Josh is in the county jail, showing he is not exempt because his dad is the Cheif. Obviously he does need help however he is doing the time just like any other individual who commits this crime. I think only trash and drama start these posts to hurt others. Thanks to Cheif Wayne Gray and all of the CPD for what most of you strive to do everyday, which is better this town. Josh prayers to you buddy you have the resources available to you, grow up and get the help you need!!

Do agree with Circleville Residents post and Ignorance in a small town post about Cheif Wayne Gray .Being a Chief or a preach it could of been anyones child. It is not who you are it is who you wanna be theses days. Our community here has really turned bad with the drug problem we have. And yes Josh along with others need help and I hope that this is one a eye opener and a new beging for him....And to mention for a short this here site is nothing but trouble and a big gossip ring..Sad how ppl can get on here to badger others but yet prolly have the same problem themself..Wish this site would be deleted!

Talk about ignorant Circleville HICKS !!!
If local police and sheriff were corrupt their kids would never get a ticket or go to jail.
Past generations of cops kids didn't get in trouble because they knew mom and dad would beat their asses at home once they found out Plus old man Chilcothe would have laid the paddle on you in JR high as would some of the teachers at CHS.
BLAME it on our liberal society that says you can't lay it on a kid that needs it.

At its finest...I am not one of the "pawns". Quite frankly, the chief ( note spelling so the next you respond, you spell it correctly)and I haven't always seen eye to eye. This makes this situation no less serious. Your attitude tells me a lot. You have likely been arrested for a drug related crime and are angry or you are close to someone who was arrested for a similiar crime. Josh is now paying his dues (I have never met nor know Josh)for his crime. As far as my "ignorant" comment, you are ignorant to take satisfaction out of someone else's misery. AND because I said your ignorant, I'm not allowed to say pray for him? Well, here's an even better one. I hope everyone does pray for this kid. It takes an entire village to raise a child these days. As far as your concerned..Fuck off. Now, THAT'S IGNORANT :0)

Richie Rich* I completely agree with you in regard to, "can't help what your kids do". I know many children who were raised "right", that ended up taking the wrong path in life. Friends are more of an influence than any parent can be. Align yourself with the right people and you will be successful. Align yourself with the wrong people and you will fail every time.

As far as the comment regarding yourself, if you are smart enough to realize that you are on the wrong path, then you are smart enough to change that. The majority of those who are doing things they are not proud of, are usually not bright enough to realize it.

It's NEVER too late to change. I promise. Hold your head high, ask for forgiveness from those you have wronged, and walk proud.

I have sons and want you to know, there is nothing they could ever do that would make me not love them or be ashamed of them. I might not agree with choices they make, but will always love them. I know 100% your mom feels the same way. Your post touched my heart. You have compassion and empathy for those around you.

I think your mom did a fantastic job raising you.

Ignorance in small town has good points. We need a voice for those in distress to wake some common sense in everyone. Make a stand and fight to increase the peace, harmony and love this small town once was. Think of your future, your kids, your grandkids and families, what would you do when you're frail and old that the drug plm was ignored and they're robbing you in daylight cuz you're too weak to fight? And to keep your own child or a family from falling apart when its time to bury their child dead from overdose? Pray as much and speak even more, little louder enough to stop this vicious cycle.

Josh being in jail shouldnt mean anything to any of you. It proves nothing... YES he IS in jail, but hes been there COUNTLESS times before. Josh has told me HISSELF that his daddy has expunged his record 3+ times. His dad helps him AS MUCH as he can and Josh STILL doesnt stay out of trouble and Wayne STILL holds his hand when he gets involved with the police. Josh isnt a bad dude but drugs have gotten ahold of him. Its got to come to a point where his dad stops trying to protect him and let his ass sit in jail the full length hes supposed to. he has a daughter and thats not enough for him to stay clean, so his daddy helping him in any way just makes it worse!
