Do you ever go to the movies? If you do, do you go to the local Movie House or go out of town?
If you prefer to go out of town, why?

OUT OF TOWN. Even before and after Rankin ive been there. The movies always flicker the screens suck! The employees werent very nice. No Imax or 3d upgrades. Tiny and dingy!

if you want better movies then suggest it to Rankin or the movie house page so they know what you're wanting to see and take into consideration it's a small town place that doesn't have the huge budget as other places. It is one of the only places with a bar built in which should be perfect for the town of Circleville, only thing missing is support from the town which is to busy snorting/shooting themselves up to care about whats around them

Not really too big of a deal. I understand contracts with studios and whatnot.

I got some suggestions,

Bring in some classics! Jurassic Park, or how about an Independence Day replay of INDEPENDENCE DAY!

I would totally go to the theater to see some of that action...and didn't they upgrade to a 3D screen?

I don't go to the movies very often...too pricey. Last time I went was with my nephew to see kung fu panda 3...or 2 I dunno, the one with peacocks...

No 3D. less blockbusters. I think it would be sweet if they played indy films one day of the week at least.

I don't personally go often, but this is one place I hope gets support from movie lovers. Sure, you are not going to get 3D or imax. However, it's a cheap way to watch some decent movies while in town. It has been a while since I've been in there, but I just don't care for movies.

Honestly, if you are just wanting to see a movie, is it worth the 60 miles roundtrip (gas) plus a more expensive ticket just to see it in 3D? Maybe I'm in the minority, but I have 3D on my television and use it pretty much never.

Having a movie theater in this town adds activities in the town to do when bored. They seem to get pretty decent movies. I know it's easy for me to tell others to go when I don't go, but for movie watchers, they should support the Movie House.

Yea people need to promote local business rather than wasting time just to see a fake image pop off screen?

Like the movie house, but hate that every time someone leaves during a movie the hall light shows on the screen. It's an annoying rectangle. Not having 3D or digital doesn't bother me, but the rectangle does. if that could be fixed I'd start going there instead of 35-40 miles north.

I heard they went to 3D. Yes it's small and quaint, but great prices on tickets and snacks. People were always nice when I went. BONUS free kids movies during the summer.

I would go if the screen didn't flicker and you could hear the movie instead of the projector

Compared to other theaters their prices are great at the concession stand. I love too that they offer the kid movies in the summer, how many theaters do that???? We don't go to the movies often but when we do most of them are at Movie House. And the employess have always been friends and nice to us.

The movie house is awesome . They don't get to pick what movies they get.
