I think the sheriff should put his self in his shoes.Of coarse the sheriff would of gotten by if he showed his badge.

i dont blame the guy at all i or any other parent would have done the same

The sheriff should be thankful the father never hit him. If my child was dying and I could be there to hold and comfort thier crossing NO One would be stopping me. And if they actually achieved the job they would be sought heavily afterwards. It is the laast thing the father could give his son-holding and comforting him.
How could the sheriff call himself human?

I think the sheriff was in the wrong. Any loving parent would try to get to there child in that situation. My daughter was a friend of his and he is missed.

I totaly agree any parent who wants to see their dying child should have the right to see them without being stopped by a sheriff.

I'd have run the sheriff over with my car, much less shoving him. Get out of the way. Show some human respect for a dying son and his father! Your badge is nothing that will help you when it comes back at you later.
