horse manure on Craigs List!

I have grown up with horses and live stock and have always found folks who would love to pay a far less price for horse manuer than what it costs in the stores. In other places I have lived the counties and cities took in manure and compost then sold it back to those folks who wanted it for gardening. Why can the city of Anchorage not realizee what they are missing same as when the discontinued the wwod lot folks were alowed to drop their scramp wood from their yard then the city charged $10 for a truck load, wht didn't get picked up got chipped and used throughout town as ground covering. It would seem that we will still be the last frountier to embrace green uses and recycling to help and benifit all? Why can we not embrace these things?

Hello, I have a pellet mill and a hammermill that can convert dried horse poo into biomass pellets that can be burned in pellet stoves to heat homes, barns, whatever. While the home use machines I have are small (330 lbs per hour) I sell complete plants that can do up to 12 tons per hour. In addition bedding material used by the animals can also be used to make the pellets. It will take land and money to set up a plant to recycle this type of refuse but it could be a viable method of fixing the problem. If interested drop me a line [email protected]
