I assume this school district will not be teaching students about the fourth amendment in history classes since they obviously have no respect for it!

Im sure the Nazi's thought they were "FREE"....and on the other glad the little teenie boppers are getting drug tested because then they wont get coked the hell out and start blowing my 69 year old drug addicted neighbor at the age of 14, regret that they did it, and then turn to abusing heroin to forget, getting butt plunged repeatively hard as hell because theyre so drugged otu and it gives them a crazy ass orgasm...until they use all the energy out of their body, malnourishing themselves, until they die a slow ugly, skinny looking, rotted skin looking.........LIFE.......... SH*T IS REAL.

"De La Rosa said she had recommended the drug testing because of increasing evidence of the availability of illicit substances in the Deerfield schools".
The amendment protects against “unreasonable” search and seizure. The founding fathers knew there might be those times when evidence suggests that the potential for harm and/or illegal activity is present. Random drug testing is a part of the requirements for employment at many businesses. Evidently the school system sees such evidence and is acting in the best interest of the students.

I think it is a great idea, too bad it wasn't put into place a lot sooner. I don't see what the big deal is in taking a drug test, don't do the drugs and you won't have to worry about the consequences. Also, I was told that law enforcement won't be involved so no criminal charges will be brought.

The "drug war", far larger and more costly than any war in the last 50 years continues while the ACLU defends, and the gov't fence but more gov't employees for interdiction is really dumb). So is what the school doing right? Well if you have seen the impact of drugs within your own family or are aware that most of those we support in prison are in their for issues that relate to drugs then probably yes. Personally I think public hanging of drug dealers (they are killing children) is probably too good a fate.
