The most were in Fishers? Maybe Fishers should re-think their pro-drunk driving stance.

Just saw a bad accident at Olio and 116th yesterday. A soccer Mom babbling on the phone T-boned another car. Cell phones and driving don't mix very well in Fishers.

I was broadsided by a cell phone user, and my son was sideswiped by a bus driver on a cell phone. Wish the ins companies would help pass some laws restricting this kind of cell phone usage. We didn't have to pay any out of pocket, but the inconvenience is the worst part of it. Why people need a phone attached to their body is beyond comprehension.

Not just I69- It's teenagers on cell phones, smokers, inattentive drivers adjusting radios, parents interacting with kids and people who leave late to get to their destination and speed like we should all get out of their way!

They don't mix well anywhere - Please not another Fishers bashing - this is not exclusive to Fishers.

I think that safety belts dont really save all lives a I think that if we have a belief not to wear them then we shouldn't get a ticket for it. I knew a few of the peole that was in the car accident in atlanta. I also know that the two people that wore their seatbelt died and the two that didn't lived.

It is a proven fact that seatbelts save lives. There are situations that happen where a belt might not have been helpful, but if you "have a belief not to wear " a seatbelt, you should do a little research on the net and educate yourself

I don't believe the government has the right to tell adults that we have to wear our seatbelts. I do however believe in wearing seatbelts and that they do save lives. Seatbelt or no seatbelt, when the Lord feels it is our time to go there is nothing that will prevent it. In August, my nephew was in an accident in Fishers and was killed due to drinking and driving and not wearing his seatbelt. His front seat passenger had her seatbelt on and only had minor injuries. His backseat passenger did not and was critically injured. Both my nephew and his friend were ejected from the vehicle, which landed on my nephew crushing him. Had they been wearing their seatbelts, we probably would be able to hug my nephew today and tell him how much we love him. It was his own STUPID actions that caused our family the loss and pain, but a seatbelt would have saved his life.
