Louisa's Pizza & Pasta: Former Due's Student Is Now the Master

It went there, Not impressed. Old outdated. Had better at many places. Just my opinion.

This is Chicago. Many great pizza places around. What one person loves, another dislikes and vice versa.

Ohhhh....a food critic. So is my dog. She's a picky eater. If she will not eat it, I will not either. Generally, too much garlic is the cause.

I have been there and was totally unimpressed. The service was not good and the pizza was worse! I enjoy a good pizza and have family that owns a pizzeria so I like to compare them and bust their chops when I find a better one. I had heard all kinds of raves and awards that Louisa's received so I was kind of excited to try them.

I was really disappointed after going there.

It was the glass of Chetwood water that dulled your taste buds. Dont let a litle carcinogen mixed well water dull your taster.

This is Chetwood, and when Chet says it is good pizza, you had better agree that it is good pizza. Besides, cancer is everywhere you cant live forever.

I'LL go with you! I don't like the pizza, but I LOVE their lasagna! My husband HATES that place altogether so I never get to go there.

I know someone who used to work there. Everytime an Illegal came to the back door, they were hired at $2.00 an hour and threatened with a call to Immigration if they complained.
None of their food really impressed me.

WE had gone there last year for the lasagna and pasta with the garlic sause. The lasagna was ok but the pasta very dry not much sause and no pine nuts !!?? Anyways when we complained, the "Old Lady" came out and rolled-up her sleeves and like she was gonna fight us !!?? She got really upset and turned to another table and said : They like it".!! And there weren't even eating the same thing as us.? Also like others have said the service sucked!! And how do they keep getting voted #1 ?? They must be the only ones voting !!!

They are the best. If you don't like it don't eat there? They won't close because you aren't eating there.

That was Louisa that came out and rolled up her sleeves. Trust me when I say, she is a piece of work. She has no problem at all with telling someone to get out and don't come back. Like I said before, I knew someone who worked there and did it for "pocket change" and the stories they told me.

best pizza period......if your saying you dont like it....then you dont like true chicago pizza.....i worked there for six years and i can tell you 1 thing its the best!!!!and they paid me just fine and treated me great to.....go hate on some other pizza joint because louisas has the freshest indgrediants and THE BEST PIZZA!!!!

How many time have you taken her over to the Off Track Betting? Pizza good? At the price she charges for a small, it better be more than good. Does she voye herself as having the best Pizza? I'd eat Pizza Hut before Louisas.

If you are rich and like bad food please go here. It is an old dump and a slice of FROZEN cheese cake cost $6.00. It was a disaster. Maybe the mayor was already sick when he proclaimed this place #1. Trust me this place sucks. The food was C O L D and the service was B A D. One lady asked for a cup of coffee ate her whole dinner and they told her to be patient they just put a pot on! She got her coffee after she was finished and they were angry at her for complaining! WHAT A JOKE AND WASTE OF MONEY!#1 dump... keep driving do not stop unless you want your worst meal you ever had~
