It's time we start voicing our opinions about the Cibolo Police Dept. They are running roughshod over the citizens and it's getting ridiculous. They are handing out tickets for the most ridiculous things and harassing the citizens and students at Steele. If you try to fight unjust tickets, the court system just keeps dragging you back over and over again until they wear you down. Police don't have to prove the tickets are just, video doesn't have to show anything. They just have to get on the stand, make a "statement" and its their word against yours. Get on here and let's hear your ridiculous stories. In this day and age with a terrible economy, for police officers to write bogus tickets which causes us unnecessary expenses and makes our insurance go up is just not right. And don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem paying for something I did that's against the law, it's when they make up things I didn't do that I have a problem.

Yeah, DWB in Cibolo. Been pulled over repeatedly for nothing in Cibolo. They are just looking for something to give you tickets for. Watch out Cibolo visitors.

Just an FYI warning.... cops are now trolling the neighborhoods giving tickets for parking wrong way in front of houses and blocking sidewalks. Yes, I know you aren't supposed to do that, but it hasn't seemed to bother them in the past. I suspect they only do this if they haven't met their quotas for the shift.

Get a load of all the new cars CPD is driving around. Guess they are going to make us pay for them someway outside of our taxes.

Instead of blaming the police why dont you look at the city managers, the mayor, city council members and other officials that run the police. They are the ones that tell the officers what to enforce and how to enforce it. The officers could pretty much care less but when told by those people they have no choice.

I drive through cibolo twice a week for my job. The only thing I see the cops doing is hanging out at the service statio when you get off on the natural cavern exit. They are there at all hours of the day and night drinking coffee and eating.

About that parking thing. Someone on my street complained because they did not like my truck parked in front of my house. They called the cops to complain and the officer had to respond. He apologized and was polite about it. It really has to do with nosy busy body neighbors. I did not get a ticket and the officer said I was not doing anything wrong and could contiue parking there if I wanted to. These people need to mind their own business and get a life.

Well, for the person who disagreed with CiboloCit... I got a ticket for my son not wearing his seatbelt. But he was wearing his seatbelt. Cop wouldn't even listen to me, just said I know what I saw. But that was impossible. My kid was wearing his seatbelt. The cop was too far away and with tinted windows and me being in a SUV higher up than his car, he couldn't see anything. After 3 times in court trying to fight it, and finally being able to see the video, you couldn't see anything. But the bottom line was the cop would come to court and testify and probably lie and there was no way to beat that. Just did probation for 3 months to make it go away. In the end, they got what they wanted. My money.....

Cibolo PD has initiated Operation Cash Cow which is supposed to create additional revenues to gratify your city leaders. COPS & TICKETS = REVENUE

I live in Cibolo with my husband and four boys. We made the grave mistake of buying a home next to a cop from another jurisdiction. She has made our life hell. My boys have been labeled as big time drug dealers and have been thrown in jail numerous times, only to be released by the judge, given over $600 worth of traffic tickets over the last 10 months for things such as pulling up to the house to pick someone up but not officially parking. He has been cuffed and sat on a curb for over 3 hours while they took his keys out of his pocket and searched his car 3 times until they said they found something on him. He was not driving the car at the time. That case was thrown out. They are stopping kids that visit my boys and cuffing them, telling them that we are selling drugs out of our family home. My husband has served this country for over 20 years, has been to war and back 3 times and we are being accused of being drug dealers. They are a disgrace! Shame on them!

In my experience, people who complain about the cops being unfair are usually guilty. I'm not saying they are always perfect, but you should all be thankful we have these folks out there trying to protect us. If you really think they are out of control, take a trip across the border or pick up a mexico newspaper to see how good you have it.

We're not talking about Mexico, we're talking about Cibolo. These cops haven't got anything better to do with their time, hence the multitude of outrageous tickets. I have never had any issues with law enforcement until we moved to Cibolo.
