Does anyone know what happened at Deer Creek Park in Deer Creek. Me and my wife drove past the park around 10:35 and when we came back through from a trip to Walmart 20 minutes later, Police Dept and Fire Trucks had cordoned off the area. From what I could see, there was a body on the ground, toward the backside, about 20 feet from the actual ditch line.

I heard about this on KTSA radio (550 AM)yesterday. A white, 42 year-old-male was found hanged from a tree. They pulled the kids at Watts back inside from the playground because it was in sight of the park. Other than that, I can't find anything. Sounds like they know who it was.

The local news stations are saying nothing. I've even surfed the web and found nothing. Please let me know if you find out anything more. Thanks.

Wow, this is disturbing. I literally can see the Deer Creek park from my house. We walk there all the time. I had heard about this incident yesterday but by the time we came home there was no evidence anything happened and people were playing in the park. It is so sad for whomever he was and the family he left behind. That park seems to have a curse on it; there's always something crazy happening there.

The curse all started when they voted down the pool for the park. After that everything went down hill. It is a sad day and my prayers are with him and his family. Its going to be tough for them especially if they live in Deer Creek and pass the park daily. I hope also if the kids at the Elementary saw him, that they are offering counseling for them.
