House GOP Committee Chairs Will All Be White Men In Next Congress

You would think after the last election earlier this month the GOP would have gotten a clue.

Do they really think women should be barefoot, pregnant and cooking in the kitchen?

Seems so!

Yes women need to get pregnant cause men cant!!!!If they are comfortable being barefoot then that is there choice. As for cooking in the kitchen,i dont know where else they will cook unless they like cooking outside but the outside cooking is normally the mans job!!!!

Spoken like a true Repub woman!
So I guess, "yes" Repub women are followers, not leaders.
Thanks for your post. At least you are honest about NOT wanting to leave the 1950's way of life!
The next thing I will read is that Repub women will want to give back their vote, so the men can make ALL decisions for them. Good luck with that.
Have a good day!

ha, ha, ha, lol, ha, ha, ha, lol!!!!

That is a pretty flimsy statement. Whose money are you "economically independent" on, your husband's? Did he tell you to say that before he went to meet his mistress?

Reported recently, since Pro Choice, there are "fewer" abortions being reported. Options make the world go round.

Not a day in my life. Don't owe a penny to anyone and yes, I am a Dem.

You Conservative Christian Repubs are always throwing stones at the Dems and most of the time are so far off. Must be reading a different bible.

Yes, there are Dems that cheat the system, there are also alot of Repubs that do the same. Additional Welfare reform is needed; not stone throwing. Who do you think benefits from Welfare changes the most? Corporations (High Profits). Welfare needs to be a temp helping hand for most providing staples; not a bunch of costly high calorie processed foods that will cause HUGE medical bills later on. If the unmarried mother cannot pay the hospital bill or show that she (parents) can provide a stable home for the baby; the baby is put up for adoption (US citizens/taxpayers should not have to go overseas and pay taxes for someone to be a parent). Think about the baby and the Welfare cost issue will take care of itself.

Based on the posts here, Repubs go after poor people welfare and defend WallStreet and Corporate Welfare, why? Still think, "you too can be filthy rich"? Greed is NOT about sharing. It is more about selling your soul to the DEVIL. Why do you suppose Mitt R. would NOT release his tax returns (his father was proud of what he earned and how he earned it - released twelve years)?

Professional is when you get paid for your work. People with a paycheck are professionals. That is what you should be proud of - EARNED INCOME!

John Boehner Names Candice Miller To Chair House Committee

Mitt R. must have loaned his "Binder Full of Women" to John Boehner. Good for him!

Thank God he found Candice. You know it could have been Michelle Bachman; missed that bullet!

Let me see...Michelle Bachman loves the Lord, adopted children, been faithful to her husband, gives up her time and money for community service...tell me again how bad a person she is.....

so, Dems are for babies? Yea, if they can get to become babies and aren't murdered in the "mother's" womb, or have to grow up with 2"daddies" or 2"mommies", or forced to have God removed from the public school system, or have the gov pay for drugs & beer & encourage the entire world to sneak into our country, illegally, and drain our national wealth...16 TRILLION in debt & rising...yea you got us, we are stupid, ignorant, heartless people who only care for the rich white male...what a blind & pathetic attempt at reasoning you libs have...grow some eyes & open your Bible before you try to comment on our stupidity...
Glad to be what I am

And let's hope they have the balls to stand up for what's best for our Country, not Mexico, Iran, Syria, China, Egypt and so on....

First, Michelle B. did NOT adopt children - foster care which was another Gov't paycheck to go with, her Congress check, her husband's "pray away the gay" Medicaid paid treatment program (I think it is being looked at now) and Farm subsidies. Michelle is all about reducing Gov't - let's start with her!

Anyone can say they are Christian--action speaks louder than words. "Revenge is mine says the Lord". "On Judgment Day, you will answer for ONLY your sins, not sins of others."

There are all kinds of question marks surrounding her husband - won't go there.
