LOL! you didn't notice the date of that report did you??? You might want to find more current data.........but, it doesn't matter to you...lol

Oil drilling and natural gas production has gone up.
What is your point?
LA needs/deserves respected reps in Congress.
David Vitter, in my opinion, does NOT fit that order!
#45 Sep 15, 2012
LOL...oil drilling has gone up??? I explained before, drilling is occurring offshore, in OCS waters, that means federal not state.......Haynesville Shale gas in North La was very active initially, but with low gas prices, production is barely break-even, and none of the major companies are involved. Do better research.
But at least you finally admit "in your OPINION" Vitter is not acceptable. I respect that, just don't try to use biased and outdated data (self-generated Landrieu website) to validate your contention. I suspect many voters in this State have contrary opinion to yours.

That is your opinion. Everyone's post is their opinion. Everything you posted here has a short lifespan.
Ever hear of supply and demand? When oil prices go down, so does drilling and hiring.
David Vitter made the choice to seek out and pay for women (it didn't just happen).
Based on all of the Repub posting here, Consevative has no true meaning other than "GREED OF MONEY". What about love and compassion for your fellow man?
Based on what I have witnessed about David Vitter, he is about corporations who will help him in the end. He seems to show up for photo ops.
Go home David!

ROFLMAO......where's your love and compassion, and forgiveness for Brother David? Maybe just a little hypocritical, don't you think????
#48 Sep 16, 2012
I forgave him years ago, but don't want a hypocrite representing my interests in DC. I just DON'T trust him.
He admitted to visiting the Prostitutes in DC (had to, his name was all over the phone list)- Didn't he break the law? Shouldn't he have been thrown out of Congress and into jail????
#49 Sep 16, 2012
Dunno...perhaps the law of precedence applies. Lets see, here in this State we would have to had thrown out a governor, in DC a President and so many legislators in both locations that there wouldn't have been a quorum..........oh, and don't forget the other side of that arrangement...remember when it was alleged that Mary was a prostitute for selling many of her votes???lol
#50 Sep 16, 2012
LOL, its been fun, but its getting stale.....I don't care what anyone thinks of Vitter...don't vote for him. Condemn him. Just use facts to justify your claims, not biased, dated, untrustworty data....have a nice day.

Stated like a childish MEAN GIRL!!!!
You have an opinion, which alot of people DON't agree with. Get over yourself! Your posts got childish and mean as the conversation went on. You Can't handle the truth.
I much rather discuss issues with someone who can hold their own without the drama!
Have a good life!

Landrieu, Richmond angry at LA Times editorial on Gulf oil royalties
"What the editorial board conveniently left out was that in Louisiana, all offshore royalties go directly into rebuilding our wetlands -- wetlands that protect the infrastructure for 80 percent of the nation's offshore oil and gas production and five of the nation's top twenty ports. This type of hypocrisy is astounding from a state that is ranked No. 2 nationally in oil and natural gas consumption.
"If the LA Times would leave Venice Beach long enough to report on reality they would see that Louisiana keeps the cost of their gasoline and electricity low," Richmond said.
According to Landrieu's office, California uses around 15 billion gallons of gas per year, and has 17.7 million cars on the road.
Landrieu was chided for asking that a law she helped pass in 2006 to give Louisiana and three other producing states 37.5 percent of offshore drilling royalty payments in 2017 be expedited to funnel the money sooner and more broadly.
