Louisiana voters need to send David Vitter, and others who misbehave, a message next election. You Are Fired!!!!
Represent is a VERB!!!
David Vitter has done NOTHING to create good jobs for Louisiana.
He has been nothing but an embarassment to the State. Unless Congress works with the President, at least show up, then nothing good will come from them being in Washington. A WASTE of taxpayer money. Maybe we need to start cutting there!!!
For all those who believe in Family Values, why is he still in Washington? The laughing stock of Congress!

and mary landeiu has? she sold out her people on obamascare. She was Judas for her 30 pieces of silver. The people of this state overwhelmingly are against obamascare, she should have voted no, but she voted yes,and bragged about selling her vote. I guess you dont consider THAT an embarassment? Please she is worthless. Vitter is the senator that is trying to cut the deficit. This job of senators is NOT to work with the president, it is to represent THEIR voters. Vitter represents the voters of this state very well. Oh how it's all falling apart around the socialist circles and all the leftists are going to have to finally get a job.

David Vitter is a JOKE! Everytime his name is mentioned "Disgraced" comes before rather than Mr.
Jeff Landry, Vitter's mini-me, sat with his sign "Drilling = jobs". Why did it not say "New Safety Regs implemented, Drilling = Jobs"?
Sounds more like he is representing the oil companies, rather than the Americans who live and work in Louisiana.(Drilling permits are being issued.)
As someone put it, we want jobs, but not at the risk of lives and health. Keep in mind, alot of companies want to stop offering health insurance because the premiums are too high. What are they doing about that?????

Quick question for you Here and now, how many republicans did the democrats include when shaping obamacare? Answer:0
Another question, can you identify the person who said this statement?
"We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."
answer:teleprompter barry hussein obama
So please spare me the "work with the president" bullcrap. You lefties are all for excluding the republicans, right up till the point that Americans voted out the witch nancy pelosi and sent the dems packing and voted in tea party members. Then you whiney socialists all start crying about "work with us".
As far as drilling goes, I work oilfield. It was brilliant of your president to shut down the entire industry because of 1 companies fault. um, another question...why did it take your president so long to respond about that oil spill? I could say something like you liberals all said after katrina...does your president hate white people?
oh yeah, while I'm at it, your golden boy's obamascare is the reason that companies are not offering insurance. His "penalty" for not offering insurance is cheaper than the premiums, so companies are willing to pay the fine as it's cheaper. That was his plan though. He wants a single payer plan, after he swore we could keep our existing plans. In other words, he lied. He also said that forcing americans to buy insurance isn't a tax. But funny thing, when they are arguing about the legality of obamascare in all these court proceedings they cite the ability of the government to collect taxes as the legal grounds for mandating purchasing health insurance. So which is it? is he lying about it NOT being a tax, or lying about it being a tax. Seems the senator that said Obama lied during the state of the union address was correct, obama lies.

Proof that Obama is a racist to the core.Show me a Obama supporter and i will show you an idiot!!!!

I finally realized something. You guys work in entry level positions on oil rigs.
Management goes where the MONEY is without regard to employees. Employees are not, as they say in their mission statements "greatest assets", but rather a necessary cost. Don't think for a moment that when they can replace you with min. wage Mexicans, they won't do it. When you are on that rig next hitch, just look around you!
If it were CHEAPER to go drill near Venezuela, they would go tomorrow. They are using this controversy over improved safety/environmental regs as leverage to bring down their costs here and maximize profits! Top management will get HUGE bonuses at X--Mas, not you. They will remind you that you are lucky to have a job.
Alright M. Bachman want-a-bes, "Drilling Was Not Stopped in the Gulf". Again, with the billions in profits, why didn't the oil companies come to the table right away with accountability, financial responsibility and safety improvements - remember, "their employees are their greatest assets"? After the anniversay of the oil spill, BP wants the balance of the $20/M back. I guess they are used to McDonald service too!!!
When you are listening to the 2012 Repub speeches, listen for the new lingo "GLOBAL WAGE". I have already heard it used. It means, without collective bargaining, Global Corporations want to compensate all employees around the Globe the same. That almost sounds like a Socialistic Society. Are you in favor of this?
Just to clarify, your wages would NOT go up, but rather down to what is paid in China! Now who is the Idiot??????????
#7 Sep 12, 2011
An idiot does only what is demanded by the leader of the party without freedom of logical thought.
I am far from being an idiot!
I am also not an extremist (right/left). I am in the middle (flexible/compromise) where more people should be if we are going to get out of this mess.
I guess if I was questioning my position, I would call you an "idiot" too. Don't know, never got that low!!!
#8 Sep 26, 2011
again, you are a liberal, no you are an idiot, ah but I repeat myself. I am not an "entry level" anything in oil field, and you making that remark like it is a lower class job is insulting at best, but really just plain stupid. It shows the contempt that you liberals have for people who actually work. What is really enjoyable about this, is that you keep posting all this crap from huffpo and the fact is no matter how much you keep posting, your idol will never win this state in the elections. And what is even more satisfying, is that your idol is not going to win re-election. He will go down as a one term failure, which is oh so satisfying. The only "global" I ever hear, is from the pansy left loons with "global warming" from your former idol algore, you remember him don't you? He invented the internet.

David Vitter Undermined Public Trust, Senate Ethics Panel Rules
Seriously, what is wrong with this man? Is it his personal mission to embarrass Louisiana on a regular basis?
#10 Apr 2, 2012
Thank you Sen. Vitter for using your clout as a fulcrum to keep the economy of Louisiana growing. Your actions=more work for me=greater opportunity for my family.
I greatly appreciate it and you have my vote next cycle.
#11 Apr 2, 2012
His efforts had a "NEGATIVE to NO effect". Just embarrassed the great state of LA once again. Is that what you are so proud of?
His actions amounted to being a "BULLY" and he stood alone (that in itself should tell you something). He needs to behave or move to Mississippi.
#12 Apr 2, 2012
Just because someone stands alone on an issue does not make them wrong. That is a horrible argument. This administration in the White House made a decision that was hurting Louisiana families right in the pocketbook. He did what he had to do and fought tooth and nail. I don't always agree with Vitter, but I think he fought the good fight on this one.
#13 Apr 3, 2012
In this case, David Vitter was 100% wrong and needs to admit it and apoligize. You don't bully people. Who will want to deal with him now? He plays dirty! What a JOKE!
Please do not talk in general terms about what "this admin. & White House" has done to hurt LA families. There is NO proof to support your claim. How do you know that the Oil Industry did not use the tragic accident (we'll call it that until the verdict comes in; personally I feel it was a negligent criminal act) as leverage to gain more control without accountability. Remember it was Congress that got the pictures/video on TV. I guess you will have to be impacted on a personal level, not only money level, to really get what happened. We need good SAFE worksites. The workers' safety should NOT come after high profits!
Again, production up and sales at the pump down; yet prices continue to climb. You do the math and decide who is screwing you over. Remember, the oil industry is "Free Enterprise" and the President cannot set prices; only release oil from reserves; no matter what Mitt Romney says. If the oil companies have their way, they will destroy the US environment and sell the products to China and India. Keep in mind, Mitt R. closed businesses
(employed the middle class; good jobs w/benefits) and sent them overseas. THAT my friend is how he and his friends at Bain got to be so rich (corporate raiders); and not paying their fair share of taxes. He has NOTHING to be proud of. As he claims, anyone can be filthy rich. If everyone did what he did, this would be a pretty despicable place to live! If you believe in M. Romney; don't waste your time at church. Watch GCB on ABC on Sunday nights instead.
It is OK to support your party when they are right; but God help you when they are using you and then throw you out with the bath water!
#14 Apr 5, 2012
I'm very sorry that you are jumping to conclusions about my support of Romney or that I tow a party line. He's a self serving liar and if he gets the GOP nod we are doomed to another 4 years of Obama, which will most likely give us a Liberal SCOTUS which will kill America as we know it. same goes for the frothy one. From where I sit, unless someone comes along on a white horse, we are screwed either way.
Safety is important, and I agree that BP should be held accountable, but to halt all progress due to the folly of one foreign company is a travesty.
As I stated in my last post, I do not always support Vitter, but he did what he had to do to get business moving for his constituents.
#15 Apr 5, 2012
David Vitter did a "Stupid, Selfish, Harmful to LA" thing. I will never agree that behaving like a spoiled child is the way to go. No one stood with him. That speaks volumes; especially in Washington, D.C. The people in his own party don't seem to respect him. He did "Nothing" to help the oil industry in LA. Remember, the government agency (taxpayers' reps) did not want to meet with him nor his mini me, Jeff Landry. That was harmful to the industry in LA.
B P is NOT the only oil company in the GOM. It is funny how everyone is holding Obama accountable for ever increasing gas prices at the pump, but NOT one oil company for anything. What about the subsidies given to the oil industries when they have record profits?
To me, Mitt Romney is trying to fulfill a bucket list item (a rich man's dream - I am not fulfilling). The man made billions on the back of hard working Americans. He claims he can increase employment in America; but he and Bain sent middle class jobs overseas - that's how he got rich. He is courting Wallstreet and we know what happens to average Amerians when Wallstreet is not regulated?
Obama has done a good job; not great. His administration is limited by a "Paid for do nothing Congress". That is where we need to clean house. Did they pass and Obama sign the "Congress cannot use inside stock info" bill? Isn't it time Louisiana is known for a diversified economy. Why can't we be first in the green energy industry, rather than at the bottom of the list in everthing else? Don't you want your kids to have GOOD SAFE jobs w/ benefits and retirement?
I am so sick of hearing Repubs claiming that Obama is going to increase the debt by 6 trillion dollars. These are the BS people you should be afraid of. Obama CANNOT do things on this level alone, or didn't you know this?
It's just like Bobby Jindal's education voucher plan. How many kids do you think will go to private schools vs. how many public schools will be sold to the "For Profit" market????? It seems to me that Bobby Jindal gave up on Louisiana and is looking for greener pastures. Why didn't we go with a "true Louisianaian". Please sign the recall petition!
If it is such a great idea, let's sell the public universities to "For Profit"? No UL or LSU. I didn't think so!
Use a logical thought path. If it oink's and smells like a pig, then it is what?
#16 Apr 6, 2012
I agree with you 100 percent we tend to vote for the person who is more in the limelight than for the won who will make a change that we as Americans need
#17 Apr 6, 2012
Goldman Sachs pays Romney's way just like they pay Obama's. If you think there is a difference you area fool.
Neither Obama, Romney or the gas company's have any control over the price of oil. The price of oil has remained consistent versus gold since the 70's. The true enemy is the federal reserve, who inflates the currency and lessens the buying power of your dollar. Not the oil companies fault. You should use a logical path and follow the money trail. I can buy a gallon of gas with a silver dime right now.

Oil company executives, like global corporation executives, have testified before Congress on several occasions with the same testimony " they are after profits for their stockholders".
Wallstreet owns Washington. Mitt Romney is telling you everyday of his campaign that he will get rid of regulations on Wallstreet. Keep in mind, that is where he got so rich! Not in blue jeans working in the fields or in overalls on an oil rig. Didn't you notice he is out of his blue jeans! He can now mingle with his people on Wallstreet. His real friends. I wonder how many bowls of "Cheezie Grits" he will order in one of New York's finest restaurants? What a greedy joke!
Wallstreet has taken over major colleges. Students are getting degrees in "GREED".
Trouble started when Congress got rid of a law put in place after the market collapse in 1929. Citi Group grew to "too big to fail" along with other banks. No controls in place. Oh yeah, Allen Greenspan said he made a mistake; was wrong and is SORRY. What a big time loser. Maybe Allen Greenspan should be investigated and brought up on charges??? Who knows?
Haven't we learned by now that anything on a Corporate level cannot be held accountable (will not self regulate, but will pass the buck to lower level employees); therefore, needs to be highly regulated?
As far as the Federal Reserve, what would you suggest doing, shutting it down cold?
Informed people know that the high profit margins are what is controlling oil prices. Supply and demand went out the window. There are super computers (and speculators) in place making stock trades. These computer trades should be investigated because machines are running Wallstreet trades based on predetermined conditions. They can trade faster than a human being. Would you allow your computer to completely make choices for you in your life?
I guess it is true, machines will take over the world. To think it is being done in the name of "GREED", not "GOD".

Vitter's Middle-Class Grades
#20 Sep 11, 2012
You may want to find another medium to support your position. themiddleclass.org is an affiliate of The Drum Major Institute....a PROGRESSIVE public policy 'non-profit' organization funded primarily by Geo. Soros. Any wonder they score anything conservative poorly? Find an unbiased source. Perhaps the entirety of the Louisiana voting public..a majority seems pleased with Sen. Vitter's work.......
