I live in Lenoir, NC and am trying to keep up with the case and outcome. Please let me know if anyone hears anything on this.

I found out the trial was held over to go to the Hawkins County Grand Jury and the next time they meet is in December.

i was working with dave at bush beans in chestnut hill,tn when he was murdered. we were working six 10's and an 8 on sunday. he was driving from church hill every day. he was at work on saturday, and he didn't take his tools with him that evening. he took them home often to work on his house. we thought it was odd that he didn't show up sunday and he didn't call in. it was monday when we found out he had been murdered. he had been offered a position traveling to various job sites, and told us that he was going to buy a camper and new truck so his wife could travel with him. they also had a cruise planned. dave was such a nice guy and an extremely hard worker, it's hard to believe anything his wife is saying.

She really has quite a history...Hopefully the judicial system will see through it and take a close look at her

Has anyone heard of her being re-arrested as she left court? Or anything about the wrongful death suit his family is filing against her?

i've been searching the internet for information and the only thing i've been able to find is the article from 11/6/06. we were able to find out that he had family in putnam county from local union 934 in kingsport where he was a member. from the stories he told his tool buddy, she was a hard worman to get along with and i also hope justice will be done.

Haven't heard anything I do know someone who has made contact with her since the last hearing at court and they did not mention anything about her being re-arrested. What kind of "history" does she have?

dave told his tool buddy that she called the police and told them he was injecting her with poison as she slept. he went to jail for 3 days while they performed tests on her and they found nothing. she said she must have made a mistake.

I noticed Mr. Ledbetter had alot of dwi's and posession charges in NC but didnt see any criminal record for Patricia in NC. Is she originally from NC?
